Chapter 55: 55
Since that night, Louise had made up her mind. She must take back the glory that supposed to be hers.
She began her university days with peace. As part of her daily routine, she began to read the thesis manuals inside the library.
Those who knew her well enough knew that at this time of the day, she's reading inside.
"Louise! Did you do the papers for Math?" Her classmate asked her while running towards her. She almost lay flat on the ground when Louise grabbed her wrists.
"Be careful! What are you anxious about? I did them and Professor Su really had me going nuts!" Louise became frustrated because of this.
"Well, glad you did it as I wasn't able to..." The girl wailed pitifully.
"Alright, alright! I know you want to copy it. Just don't be over the top copying or else..." Louise made a slit-throat gesture.
"I know. I know. Thanks Louise. I'll treat you to lunch later." The girl rushed towards the outside again.
Louise just shook her head.
Tsk!
Shirley really had it rough.
She went back to her reading and as time passed by, lunch came.
Shirley texted her about the treat and asked her to head straight to the canteen.
This university was a normal one. She just wanted to experience what it felt like schooling and Augustus found this normal college around Country P.
She came back a few months ago with a different name, though Louise was retained.
From time to time, she could hear news about the great Whitney Du and Stacy Chang.
They were crowned as the Iron Women in this country as they were successful and capable leaders of a conglomerate.
Rupert Mo, became a shadow behind the two. The helmsman of LM Group from D City became successful.
Drake Lu became a superstar under the company of Whitney Du.
During the 5 years of sleeping, many had changed.
But one thing that remained, LM Group and Morgan Group. As far as she remembered, Rupert was a friend and college buddy of her late father. She also found Drake's face familiar but she couldn't remember much about him as she was still young back then.
Louise was lost in her thoughts while flipping the pages of the thesis manual not until a loud thud echoed inside the quite library.
The librarian glared towards their table.
Louise frowned upon seeing that it was Merideth Su who created the noise.
"What happened?" Louise asked worriedly as she was one of her new found friends in the university.
Merideth had a grave look on her. She was on a verge of crying.
"Don't cry here!" Louise warned in a hushed tone. This made Merideth Su stunned. She momentariluly forgot that they were in a library.
"Sorry. I was too agitated..." Merideth began to wipe the small tears on the corner of her eyes.
"Wait for me. I will just return this." Louise stood up and walked towards the shelf where she got the manual.
After, she picked up her things and grabbed Merideth towards the outside.
