58.97% The Heiress (Louise Agatha Morgan Ye) / Chapter 46: 46

Chapter 46: 46

1 year later.

"That's the conclusion of your rehabilitation. I hope I will not see you again in this condition Louise..." A young blond woman said with a smile.

"Alice, I won't but we will see each other again. I see you as my friend. I'll treat you to a meal later for a celebration." Louise smiled.

"Okay. I'll be there. Just send me a message for the venue." Alice hugged her.

"Sure. I'll get going then. My home tutor is still waiting for me outside..." Louise playfully bid farewell.

"Sure. You're the only one who can make that man as your tutor. Get going then..." Alice walked her to the door and opened it for her.

"See you later Alice..." Louise kissed her cheek.

"See you later." She responded.

Louise walked towards the man who was waiting patiently on the corridor. He had a handsome countenance which could not be rivaled with anybody in this country. His aura alone can make anyone succumbed to him.

"Finished?" Augustus walked towards her with a smile.

"En. Finally. I can focus on my studies now!" Louise had a visible delight on her face.

"Let's go. I still need to attend to something." Augustus grabbed her hands as usual.

"What is it?" She asked as he let him take her hands.

It was like this during the whole year. He didn't say anything to her. His presence alone is enough for her to understand that this man beside her treated her best.

"Grandpa asked me back to the castle again. You know his illness can't be cured anymore." He talked as they walked.

Louise stayed silent.

It was a whole and a half year since she woke up and many things happened.

"Can I go with you? I'll visit Grandpa too." Louise asked for his permission as the old man didn't like her that much.

"Sure. Even if you don't ask me, I still bring you." Augustus pressed the elevator button for the ground floor.

"En. Thanks. I hope he will not ask me to leave just like before..." Louise was a little hurt as she didn't have a family of her own and Augustus' grandfather had a prejudice against her.

"I said no thank you's between us..." Augustus sighed and shook his head. It felt like he was an outsider.

"Okay. I will remember." Louise made face on the elevator's wall as their figures reflected on it. The man saw it too.

He helplessly shook his head and said nothing. He's really bound to be defeated by this woman.

"Your teacher said you can try to sit for college entrance exam." Augustus remembered.

"Really? I thought Teacher Nolly won't let me sit in this year?" She was quite happy as she didn't expect it.

"En. Who told you to be awesome and intelligent?" He gently rubbed her head with his other arm.

"That's great. I thought I have to wait another couple of months before Teacher will allow me." Louise said with a little vexation.

"With your standards, you can even directly apply for your major... So don't belittle yourself, you're doing great." He said with doting.

"Okay." She happily nodded.

When they arrived at the basement, they walked towards the space where his car parked.

"Get in." He opened the door for her before he walked towards the driver's seat.

"Your seatbelt..." He reminded but he also moved his hands over her.

This made the woman blush. His face was so close to her and a single move she could kiss his flawless cheek.

The man didn't notice her reddening face as he inserted the buckle then retreated to the driver's seat like nothing happened.

"Let's go."
