Chapter 66: I Don't Want To Get In The Way

Izzy didn't like her new foster home. She missed sharing a room with Roz, being close enough to the library to walk, and her odd sort-of friendship with Julian. 

These days, her contact with her old roommate was less consistent, she had to beg her foster mom to get her a monthly bus pass so she could go to a different library and not lose her mind, and she didn't hear from him at all. Until she got that email anyway. 

She had been surprised but pleased. She told Roz to give him her email if he asked but didn't think he actually would. Or that he would show up less than an hour later and declare that they had been friends the whole time after all.
