Chapter 69: Character Introduction: Sean
Author's Note: This character hasn't been introduced in the main story but, because I can do anything I want to my story, he is being introduced. However, please note that this takes place a few years after where the main story is currently at. Also, these chapters will always be from 700 - 1000 words.

Hey, what's up?
My name is Sean.
Um, no last name. Or middle name for that matter. That's because my family is pretty normal. I think the only thing a bit different from any normal family is the fact that both of my parents are adventurers.
They're... nothing amazing or special in that field as well. They are just your average C-Ranks you could see pretty much everywhere. However, if there is something different about them, then that would be the fact that they have this totally insane amount of determination in whatever they do.
They are also... pretty young for parents. I mean, I am 13 years old and I think they are only turning 30 years old later this year. They said that me and my sister were in our mom's belly when they were still very active as adventurers. They still are active, just not as much as before as they have to take care of me, my sister, and my best friend.
So, let's talk about us. Me and my sister are twins. However, due to a seemingly impossible coincidence, we were born on different days. I was born on the last minute of the 7th Day on the 2nd Month. She was born a few minutes later on the 8th Day.
Well, because of the fact we are twins, we look extraordinarily similar. My parents said that if I grew long hair, I would practically look the same as my sister. Oh yeah, her name's Jean. We both have black hair that, for some reason, fades to green when reaching the tips. We also seem to have eyes that look similar to the stars you see in the sky.
I also mentioned that my parents also had to take care of my best friend as well. If you are wondering why, then say it. But, it is a pretty sensitive topic that we don't like to talk about. My friend's name is Felix and he was born on the 24th Day of the 10th Month. All 3 of us were born in the same year, just different days.
Sadly, the reason why we take care of him was because his parents both died to an illness. His parents were best friends with mine so, when they passed away, they promised to take care of Felix. That's why, it was lucky that we all liked the same thing.
Because Felix's parents were a bit strict and my parents were adventurers who liked practical things, it made us want something a bit different. We, of course, loved our parents. What we didn't love was the fact that the things they did were... let's say, unappealing.
So, we all decided to want to pursue something that would bring joy to our parents. They always looked tired after their work and because we can't stand silence, we thought of what we wanted to do when we were older.
We would become entertainers. Like, those people who travel around and do performances to those watching. But, we weren't pursuing just any kind of entertainment. We would become musicians!

It sounds like a distant dream but, for some reason, our abilities perfectly match it. Plus, music is such an amazing thing! Every year, there would be a big festival in the city. We would then walk around and listen to the songs and instruments of the musicians when we were younger. Our parents and every other person listening seemed so happy. At that moment, all 3 of us decided that we would bring happiness to the people who listened to us like them.
Thankfully, we were able to think of our positions as a group. And yes, we already thought about how our group will be arranged. We always think ahead. The positions are assigned according to what our abilities do. Me and my sister have pretty similar abilities (is it a surprise at this point?). I am able to change how things sound like when I hit them.
So, for example, I can make the sounds of strings higher or lower than what they should be. My sister is able to manipulate her voice to reach any pitch or tone. That's why, she is going to be an amazing singer while I will be playing the instruments. Felix's ability isn't related to sound, but can still help as a lot. He is able to create illusions that can take the form of anything he wants.
These illusions are only limited by his imagination and could help draw a crowd towards us. Speaking of Felix's illusions, he has tricked me a couple of times. Also, I feel like he kind of likes my sister. Every time he is in the same room with her, he starts staring at her and smiling. He may be my best friend but, a man just has to protect his sister, right?!
"Did you see how he was able to defeat that Cleaver so fast?"
"Yeah, it was pretty darn fast. That guy sure is one amazing person."
Those are my parents again. They are talking about the guy who has been taking the native adventuring community by storm, or that's what they say. They call him the 'Unrivaled Specter'. Little did I know, that this Specter would be someone I'd be helping out in the future.
