Chapter 293: Castle

Sid stood still, without even trying to run this time. It seemed like he had accepted his fate. Not that there would be all that much changed if he struggled given his condition.

The queen pursed her lips. Despite her overwhelming advantage, the injury at the start was still not negligible. The feeling of pain slipped through her expression slightly. However, a moment later, it melted away as a calm overtook her.

And it was at that moment Sid's figure turned into a blur.

A thunk followed by a cry of pain rang out.

"Gah! You... you..."

He had thrown the dagger right as the queen had been focusing, using strength that should not have come from a man with his injuries. It lodged itself into one of her legs, which wasn't too significant given the fact she wasn't using them, but it was an injury nonetheless.

Sid couldn't help but start laughing like a maniac.
