Chapter 38: A stressful Day

After two days, they all came back after having a few meetings with Mr. Vim. He wasn't in a mood to agree with them and give the contract back to them. Jung-Hoon was so stressed in those days, which was making Syanja worried about him. One thing that Syanja noticed those days was that Jung-Hoon is the most passionate about his work and family. She didn't know about what was going on with them all. All she knew was they were having some crises in business. Syanja let out a sigh as she completed her work and a small smile curved on her lips when she remembered that was her last file and now she could spend some time with Jung-Hoon. "Finally, after two days, I am going to spend some time with you." Syanja hummed her favourite song, "EUPHORIA," and made her way to Jung-Hoon's office while humming the song.

She stopped and fixed her dress before entering the office. She knocked gently on the door and waited for the permit. After a few seconds, she finally heard Jung-Hoon's deep voice, which sent chills down under her spine. Syanja cleared her throat and pushed the door. She smiled brightly as her gaze met with Jung-Hoon. He was looking breathtaking while wearing a black suit. His coat was placed on the chair and sleeves of shirt were rolled up. Jung-Hoon's hand vines popped out, which was so attractive with his right arm tattoos. Syanja's heart skipped a beat when Jung-Hoon smirked widely after seeing her drowning over his look. "Do you want something?" "You—" what?" Her eyes widened at her stupid reply. She whiffed her head and showed him the files changing the topic. Jung-Hoon chuckled and made his way to her. "Are you sure?" His dominant tone caused her to fluster. "Are you blushing?"

"J-jung-Hoon," he crooned. "Please sign these files quickly, then I will take my leave." He nodded in disappointment but continued to walk towards her. She gazed down as he approached her. Jung-Hoon kissed her forehead gently, making her close her eyes. "I missed you." "I missed you too," he raised his eyebrow. "I don't think so. You were saying you want to leave." Syanja frowned. "What?" He nodded "when?" "So you don't wanna leave?" "No," "No?" Jung-Hoon inquired, and a smirk plastered on his lips. "Are you teasing me?" Jung-Hoon laughed harder at her cuteness and pinched her cheeks. "Yaahhhh, it hurts." Jung-Hoon kissed her lips quickly as she pouted. "Why?" "Do I need a reason to kiss you?" Syanja looked away while being shy. "Shy, Shy, Shy" her heart fluttered when Jung-Hoon sang a song for her. "Yaa, stop it and go back to your work." She rushed to her office, leaving him chuckling. "Cute." He murmured and continued his work.

Hyun-Tae let out a heavy sigh after coming out of his father's office. "He is so rude. I don't get how mom handles him." He shook his head at Mr. Vim's stubbornness. "What happened?" Ho-Jim asked as he came to his brother. "He is not in the mood to listen to me for once. Why is doing this?" Ho-Jim nodded his head while understanding everything. "Let's go. We need to talk about it to our mother. The situation is getting out of hand." Hyun-Tae smiled and followed his brother. Meanwhile, someone was watching their every move. He took out the phone and called someone. "Tae-Min, they are going out." He hung up the call and headed back to his work.

Mr. Vim smiled sarcastically while thinking about something. "You all will pay for it. How you disrespect me and threw me away from the extensive project? My company will reach a high soon. Mr. Jang." He smirked and sent a message to someone. "I am ready to work with you." Mr. Vim placed the mobile on the desk and rested his head on the chair. "Now wait and watch. I need to think about what to do with that little girl, Syanja." He heaved a deep breath and let out a sigh.

"What do you expect me to do?" Ji-Sui asked Tae-Min as he took her to the Vim mansion. "Get out of the car and go to your in-laws' home. I gave you one work, and you didn't do it properly. I am giving you another chance." She nodded under his dark gaze and got out of the car. Ji-Sui made her way to the entrance but stopped when she saw Ji-Ho with Ha-Yoon. She turned around and signed Tae-Min to move out of the mansion with her hand. Tae-Min was lost in his thoughts and he didn't pay attention to Ji-Sui.

"Is that Tae-Min?" Ha-Yoon asked confusedly, and narrowed his eyes for clear vision. "Yes, he is." He cleared after seeing him properly. "What is he doing here?" Ji-Ho wondered, and they stepped near Tae-Min. "What are you doing here?" Tae-Min's eyes widened in shock. "I-I am here–, "why are you stuttering?" Ha-Yun suspiciously questioned when he sensed something wired. "I am here to talk with Mr. Hyun-Tae “''oh, so say that." Ha-Yoon nodded and smiled. "Okay, see you next time." Tae-Min bowed to them and started his car before leaving the mansion. "Wait, he was here to meet Hyun-Tae, right? But why didn't he meet him?" Ji-Ho's words hit Ha-Yoon's mind and make him wonder.

Mrs. Vim and her both sons were talking about Mr. Vim's changed behaviour. Mrs. Vim was a little shocked because she didn't know anything. "What? You are telling me this now." She yelled at her son's irritation. "Mom, it was not our fault. We thought dad will be fine but now he is getting out of control. I don't know what he got into." Mrs. Vim nodded at Ho-Jim state. "I will talk about it to your dad." Ho-Jim's face lit up with happiness. Ji-Sui entered the house, gaining their attention towards her. Mrs. Vim rolled her eyes and let out a sigh as Ji-Sui clung on to Hyun-Tae. "Babe, I missed you." She kissed his cheek and smiled. "Good Evening Mom," "don't Mom me." Mrs. Vim rudely replied to her. "I don't know Hyun-Tae what you see in her. Syanja is way better than her." Hyun-Tae's eyes widened, and he quickly glanced at Ho-Jim. Ho-Jim gave him an apologetical look and heaved a deep breath. Ji-Sui gritted her teeth and went to her room. "Look how rude she is." Mrs. Vim shook her head and headed to her room as well.

"Why did you tell her?" I didn't tell her you were calling Syanja's name when you came home totally drunk." Hyun-Tae nodded and walked away from Ho-Jim.
