Rina looked at her husband who seemed to have a lot going on in his head.
The broadcast only lasted for a few minutes before the president got down from the podium and handed it to the other officials.
"How can he be alive…" Ren muttered under his breath as he racked his brain.
In a short moment, thousands of possibilities and hypotheses swirled inside his mind.
However, not one was plausible.
He excluded the possibility of him being a double, or someone that received plastic surgery in order to mimic the president.
Normally, Ren would think of all the possibilities carefully before discarding them.
However, right at this moment…
'I'm sure. That's him… Someone who should be dead is speaking so leisurely…'
"It all adds app now."
The reasom why the White House was able to respond almost instantly to them leaving the country.
The reason why they were able to pinpoint where they were and send missiles
The reason why there was no delay between them finding out that the president was dead before chasing after them.
'It was because the president wasn't dead- No, he was dead. I made sure of it.'
There was only plausible explanation.
"He was somehow had the means to resurrect…"
As soon as this words got out of his mouth, shocked expressions appeared on everyone in the room.
"That can't be! How was the United States able to acquire such technology!?"
Veronica was the one to react as she herself was a doctor who was a professional in the field of medicine.
Therefore, it was normal for her to be shocked at the words that he suddenly said.
At this moment, Margareth interjected from the side, "Then what must we do, Commander?"
However, Ren didn't respond for quite a while. Only staring at the television with gritted teeth.

"No." However, Ren suddenly interrupted her as she was speaking.
"But Commander!"
Ren looked Margareth in the eye and said with eyes filled with tranquility, "It's a waste of time."
"Oh…" She wasn't able to respond as she felt the authority within those eyes.
She couldn't go against him- No, none of them could possibly do so.
Ren slapped the table, catching the attention of everyone in the conference room, "From now on, we'll focus on the Free World."
At first, although he was aware of how powerful the Free World was, he treated it more as a way to enjoy themselves.
But upon witnessing the speech of a person that should have been dead, he began to take things a lot more seriously.
At this moment, Veronica was the one speak, "But Commander, we aren't even sure if what they used to revive Gregor came from the Free World."
Glancing at Zen, she added, "I'm sure that your son is an extremely rare case. Meaning that we could estimate that he's the only one in the entire world who could get powers directly from the game."
"But so what?" Ren's golden eyes gleamed as he looked at his companions, "Whether it be someone like my son that can acquire powers directly from the game or not… How can we be sure?"
"It is inevitable that the United States will strengthen their security more in order to protect their secrets… more so due to the fact that they are literally inviting other countries."
"And even if what they used to revive Gregor was a technology that they hid from us, there's really nothing we can do about it."
He then looked at Margareth, "Are you confident that we'll be able to replicate the technology used to revive him if we ever found information about it?"
Margareth could only shake her head in response.
"I thought so." Ren nodded, "That's why we should let go of getting ahold of their advantage. Besides, just as they have their advantage, we also have ours."
He looked at Zen with a smile, "Like you said earlier, Veronica. There's an extremely high chance that my son is the only one in the world who encountered this special case."
"Therefore, we could surmise that unlike them, we have a living proof in our hands that we can gain power from Free World."
"And so, we must take advantage of this to the fullest."
At this moment, Margareth asked, "But how could we do that, Commander?"
Hearing her question, a smile blossomed on Ren's lips as his golden eyes gleamed even brighter, "It's quite simple, really…"
"...we'll be making a guild."
