Passionate Kiss

"This is a trap, and you know it," Li Qiang hissed as he gripped Wang Rouyun's arm. "You cannot go back."

"And should I let my father die?" Wang Rouyun asked. "Let me go. You must stay here and take care of the bandits."

"You are insane," Li Qiang said. "How could you simply walk in there, knowing he would kill you?"

"Do I have a choice?" Wang Rouyun hissed. "This was his attempt at controlling the empire. You must stay." This time, she removed Li Qiang's hand from her arm.

Once again, she turned her back and attempted to get on the horse, but for the umpteenth time, Li Qiang stopped her. Then without warning, he pulled her in, claiming her lips in a long, passionate kiss.

To his surprise, however, Wang Rouyun did not reject him. Instead, she wrapped her hand around his neck and responded to the kiss. And for what felt like forever, Wang Rouyun kissed him until the two were already out of breath.
