Chapter 39: I... Am Chaos

 Lucas cursed in his heart as he was ruthlessly struck down by the black lightning, a bloody hole left on his back as he plummeted to the ground.

 The shadow lady hovering in the air finally revealed a cold smirk as she lifted her hands and brought it down, summoning a large bolt of lightning from the sky again with a fierce roar.

 Luke who lay on his belly suddenly leaped up and dashed to the side, dodging the black bolt of lightning by hair's breadth, cold sweat running down his forehead.

 Although he was a mid-god now, he didn't want to risk revealing too many of his skills to an enemy, unless he would lose a valuable trump card in future battles.

 But he also didn't want to fight with the enemy for long in order not to accidentally reveal any more of his abilities.

 He had to end this as fast as he could O things would get tight real fast.
