Chapter 429: Chapter 428: His Lucky Star

When leaving the hospital, it was already 6 p.m., and the Vance Family members seemed to be gathering in increasing numbers. Since the Chinese New Year was approaching, many members who were out of town were making their way back, and then all cramming into the hospital. Yusuf Zuck couldn't even find a chance to be alone with little miss Vance.

She hadn't woken up yet, but it seemed likely she would either tonight or tomorrow. This was what Sophia said, so the Vance Family all came over and kept vigil.

Even though Yusuf Zuck was officially Ember Vance's boyfriend, he wasn't familiar with these relatives of the Vance Family, so he felt very out of place and quite uncomfortable.

Around seven o'clock, he arrived at the restaurant in the New Century Hotel. This was the table Fleur Carson had booked for him; he was supposed to have dinner with Ruth Wilcox.

Fleur Carson had met with Yusuf Zuck briefly downstairs before heading back home, after all, he now had a wife and children.
