Chapter 15: Rashaka (3)
Hissss!
Rashaka slithered towards us with an open mouth at high speed.
I run towards Jin-woo and tackle him too the ground before Rashaka reaches us.
Snap!
Rashaka snapped it's mouth close at our previous location and looks at us with eyes clouded with rage.
It's mouth was dripping with venom.
I stood up first and Jin-woo followed suit.
I step back and sidestep to my rights just in time before Rashaka's fangs pierce my body.
'Rubrum and Caeruleum are nerfed, and I can't use {Godspeed}... The only skill I can use is {path of the sword}... Time to use it.'
I thought as Rashaka gave up on me for a momment and went for Jin-Woo.

(Jin-Woo POV)
Rashaka gave up on my sister and headed for me.
'Be calm. Don't fret. Move to the left then backwards.'
I reapeat my thoughts with bodily movement and evade Rashaka's mouth.
"Haaaa!" I struck the body of Rashaka and the sword creaked. It all clicked in my head.
'With Rashaka's speed, tough scale's and the swords current condition...'
Shatter!
The sword snapped into two as the tip of the blade went to my right along with Rashaka's direction.
A big fragment of the blade went to my right leg and I felt extreme pain.
"AHHHHH!" I shout and Rashaka swiped it's tail at me, I was sent flying across the room.
Thud!
I hit the wall and cough out blood. "EUhK! Ugh."
I pull out the sword fragment.
"Euhk!" My vision blurs and blackens. "Accept... status... recovery."
My body lights up with a green glow up and I picked up the broken sword and went for Rashaka again.

(Ye jin POV)
"Jin-woo!" I shout as I channel my mana through Caeruleum and swipe at Rashaka.
<<Skill; {Path of the sword} activated>>
Blue lightning shot out of Caeruleum and sliced at Rashaka.
It spat out blood on the floor as I slashed again.
*Crackle*
I stab Rashaka's side and it went through its scales like lightning through butter. 'Which is overkill but nothing is infront of power.'
I turn Rubrum counterclockwise and red lightning flared and burnt through the already existing wound.
It swiped it's tail at me and I back away. "Atleast you won't die because of bloodloss."
It noticed Jin-woo And jumped on him. He sidesteped and sliced at its jaw resulting it to be ripped as it continues to trave forward.
"Die!" he shouted.
I look at my blades and saw that one side of the two blades are flat.
I did what I think would make the blades stronger.
I slapped the two together and boom! It made the two one.
"The Constellation Gemini. They count as one." I grin.
Red and blue sparked out in a erratic movement as the blade turned black. The lightning that radiated out of the blade also turned black. The right side turned into the colour of platinum white as the lightning on the rightside turned gold.
I split the blade again into two again as the handles turned into a four rayed star.
"Even though they are seperated as two, they are one." My mana spiked up as I hold up Rubru- no, Tenebris and Aurea ready to slash down. 'Was this the reason why the system allowed {Path of the sword} open?'

Rashaka bumped its back on a wall and shaked Jin-woo off it's neck. "Ack!"
Rashaka turned towards me alerted of the sudden mana spike.
"Take this, you overgrown snake! [Tonitrua et fulgura]!"
I slam down the two blades as lightning of the color black and white pour down on Rashaka.
Rashaka shrieks and tries to get out of the area of bombardment of black and white lightning.
But it all lead to a futile attempt.

Tenebris and Aurea tranform back to form one Rubrum and Caeruleum. I walk toward Jin-woo and stand above him.
"See? I am the older one. So it's natural that I'm the last one standing."
"*Chucles* Sure, my queen." He responds with a shit eating grin.
"H-hey! What was that for! You idio..." Before I could complete my words, I collapsed on top of him.
"Goddamn skill. What does mental exhaustion have to do with the body!" I shout.
"Oh, now you want to be ontop of me." Jin-woo teases.
"No goddammit! It's becasue of my skill!"

"Patients Sung Ye jin and Jin-woo aren't back yet?" A male doctor with brown hair asked.
"Yes, they asked to leave because this morning but have not returned yet."
"Why didn't they return at sunset?" The doctor asked again.
"But they recovered a lot and will be discharged soon."
"We shouldn't trust hunters. We should stabilize them inside. They say highclass hunters are rich but low ranked ones don't get much, and it's too dangerous. I don't know why they do that kind of work. And it's terryfying to see some injured hunters when they get to the hospital."
"Why?"
"I wonder too... their wound weren't normal... sometimes they come covered in their blood. Completely on another level than patient that get sent in due to accidents. It's amazing that they're still alive in that kind of conditions."
"But, isn't it still a miracle that they get to return alive from those conditions?"
"Not at all. Even low rank hunters compared to humans are strong. They are monsters themselve's."

(Ye Jin POV)
"Haha."
I start laughing and Jin-woo joins
"HAHAHA"
"Hahahahaha."
"But still..." I say

We look at each others eyes and see that something was growing in each of us.
(Is it power?)
(Is it our connection?)
(Or is it something more?) We thought in sync.
I stand up, dust off my white hoodie and sheath Rubrum and Caeruleum.
I checked the systems reward and I had everything except the dagger.
"Do you have the dagger."
"Yes. Finder's, keeper."
"So you'll have that and only that? I mean you won't partake in the other rewards?"
He froze.
"But anyways, let's return now." I say as I help up Jin-woo.
"Yeah." He responds as he took my hand.
(Sword Force, huh? Wonder when I could use the skill again. It was frickin Op and made quite literally one shot, even though E-rank, a dungeon boss.) I thought as I walk up the station.

Tapping. Rain was tapping.
Splash!
I set my foot outside and found out that it was raining. Jin-woo follows suit.
"Who are you?"
I turn back and see a soldier.
"How did you get here? Didn't you hear the broadcast?"
"Sung Ye jin, a hunter. I went through the subway. Why?"
"You're a hunter?! Wait a minute Miss. I'll lead you to the area!"
The soldier said as he turned and ran.
"I was totally ignored right?" tick marks apear on Jin-woo's forehead.
"You were." I reply as I follow the soldier.
"What happened? Did mosters come over?" Jin-woo asked the soldier as he looked at the sorounding corpses.
"A dungeon gate collapsed nearby, mosters have been taken care of, leaving one big monster behind."
"*Chuckle* Yes, of course I can sense it. It's mana flaring no less."
The soldier made a wow expression.

Rain was pouring gently on the street.
Thud!
Feet made of rock stepped on the road's pavement.
Thud!
Smoke was coming out of the boss's body. Indicating how hot the surface temperature is to evaporate rain.
Woosh!
Two daggers flew from a hunter's hand and landed on the golems chest area, an arrow to the knee, a hammer to the arms, but all of that didn't budge the monster.
"Healers! Heal the tank!" "Were trying our best!" "What are the damage dealers doing?!" "Its defence isto high! Unfortunately, we don't have many magicians!"
"Please don't take photos!" "Please stay away from the area! You might get hurt!"
Soldiers were securing the area but, people are stuborn and stupid.
'Ughhh, why are people so stupid. What if one of the hunters attack richot back at the mass of people.'
I sigh.
"Escuse me! Coming through!" The soldier guiding us shouted.
"Hey Sis. Aren't their ranks too low? About 1 D-rank and 8 E-ranks."
"Yeah. It's no wonder why the boss won't budge. Since he's a tank, he won't deal damage and instead goes for a battle of attrition."
"The healers 2 D-ranks and... Is that miss Jo Hee? Even after a week she's still traumatized." Jin-woo says.
"That's to be expected, I also..."
Smack!
"Hey! Don't frown and keep smiling. You'll get old soon if you keep doing that." I smile at him brightly, releasing my warm aura.
"You won't mind if I take the kill right?" I repeat the same smile and he shrinks.
"Sure, whatever. Sis." "Alrighty! Time to whip out the bow."
I say as I put my left hand out as if grasping something out, my right hand bended on my chest.
"{Arcus Fulguris}"
A giant bow made out of blue and red lightning materialize on my laft hand and a bolt of lightning ready to be released was held by my right hand.
"I have been waiting to test out this bad boy out ever since I got it." I smirk.
"{Fulmen}" I release the arrow and it disappeared for a momment and reapear on the golem's chest and made a hole.
Bang!

(Hunters POV)
"If this goes on we wil die!"
"We need a high ranking hunter to apear!"
"No-no, the tank might die at this rate!"
"What do you want us to do?! Our mana is running out!"
The tank didn't reply but intead looked up.
"hm?"
Then, a bolt of lightning hit the Golem's chest and pierced through like a hot knife through butter and continue into the sky.
Bang!
A thundercalp resounded as the golem fell down.
Rumble!
"What was that?!"
"Did a high-ranking hunter come?"
"Escuse me!" The tank turned back and requested.
"Yes? Are you talking to me?" the soldier Accompanying Ye jin and Jin-woo reaponded.
"Yes, did you see the hunter who shot that?" he asked
"Uh? Yes that hunter over the...? Huh? Where are they???"
'That strength and destructiveness... Was he/she a high ranking hunter?' he thought.
