Chapter 170: A Faraway Destination

 It was now a new day, the sun towered over the skies like a beacon of hope. The wind flashed by in a hurry as the trees, plants, and crops all swayed to the right and back to the left to dodge it. The environment was not lovely anymore as Xavier was no longer in the Capital. There were no longer the eyes of mana beast peering at the carriage from the darkest corners and the tall bushes. This all marked a new dawn, another day.

Xavier hardly slept in the carriage, for one thing, it was way too dark, there were also a lot of bugs and he barely could even inhale due to how dusty inside the carriage was, it was that badly maintained, and also the fact that he was not on a bed, not only that but Caesar wouldn't stop swaying on him and scored the whole night like a pig, a lousy sleep he was. It was one of his most restless nights.
