Maisy nodded and lay down on the pillow that Jay had just arranged. Although Jay said that he wasn't very busy, there was a possibility that he said so to assure her. Maisy picked up her phone and hesitated. She didn't know if she should ask Bruce for a leave of absence.

After leaving the Hamilton family, in order to give Lucas a good living environment and to be financially secure in the future, she had been working very hard. Although she wasn't a workaholic, she rarely asked for leave. If she asked for leave, what excuse should she find for Bruce to accept it?
