Chapter 36: Leave My Son

The police officer took care of the wound on Maisy's face. She asked carefully, and Maisy answered her questions in detail. The officers would not make things difficult for the victim. They took a simple statement from Maisy before sending her to the hospital. The corridor of the hospital was filled with the smell of disinfectant. Maisy naturally had no time to care about it. She quickly ran to Jay's operating room. The light of the operating room was still on, and there were two people standing outside.

It was a noble lady dressed in luxurious clothes. Beside the noble lady was a refined middle-aged man. Maisy walked over. When the two of them saw Maisy, they were surprised. "Miss, I think you're in the wrong place." the noble lady asked in a gentle voice.
