Chapter 16: Approached by Another Man at the Party

Jay ordered the makeup artist to remove all the makeup that Lily had applied on Maisy's face.

The man slowly sat down on the authentic leather armchair and crossed his arms. Despite being seated, he still exerted the same pressure as an alpha, forcing Lily to lower her head to avoid meeting his gaze.

"You are fired," Jay coldly announced.

The color drained from Lily's face almost immediately. She couldn't believe that her boss would just fire her over such a small matter after working diligently for him for the past six years.

"Mr. Hamilton, I..."

"Are you making me repeat myself?" Jay challenged.

Jay's cold stare was the epitome of danger. Anyone met with his gaze would shudder in fear. That was what Lily felt at that moment, causing her to shut her mouth and leave with a grunt.

"Edward. I want a full makeover. You know what I mean, right?" Jay requested.
