[Come on, maybe, he was the new male lead in his upcoming movies? With the face like that, it was illegal to become an extra.]

"Wenchao!" An old man with a chubby body suddenly barged in. Wiping his sweats and looking around the makeup room, his eyes lit up, "Wenchao, tell me. Do you know this young man?"
Li Wenchao was already irritated in this past few days. With his work getting heavier, it was hard for him to take a rest. Ironically, he couldn't even rest properly, as if he closed his eyes, that young man's figure would only fill his mind. Tiring himself to death is the only distraction he could put to continue in living.
The makeup artist stopped putting some make up and Li Wenchao barely tilted his head. The old, chubby man smiled and pushed the phone screen closer to his face.
As if not believing what he saw, Li Wenchao almost fell down on his chair because of excitement and stared at the photo obsessively. He deeply looked at him several times, and inspect severely. It's real. This is his young man! He finally saw him.
But when his vision slide down, the corner of his lips went stiff and the intense coldness was released.
The young man is Chu Yan's fiancé?
Director Rong, who owned the phone, looked at Li Wenchao confusingly. He watched as how the man changed faces numerous times and became more bewildered. Does Li Wenchao knew the young man? Why is he acting like this?
He coughed, intending to get his attention, and asked, "So, Wenchao? Do you know this young man? Can I get his contact information?"
Li Wenchao regained his awareness and frowned. He returned the phone to the director and replied dryly: "I don't have his contact information." Besides his name, I don't know anything about him. He wanted to add that.
After investigating for months, he was greeted by the news that the young man was actually Chu Yan's canary? How long did he became a fool and a dog? Why did Chu Yan hide the young man?
And fiancé. Li Wenchao suddenly had the urge to laugh. Perhaps, the young man had already strengthened his relationships with Chu Yan and took away his cold facade. Maybe, the young man would allow Chu Yan to do an inappropriate thing to him since they are legal partners.
Li Wenchao clenched his fist. Chu Yan… did that bastard tricked the young man? That was definitely the case. Remembering the distant Lian Zhinan, Li Wenchao was even more certain.
Director Rong who received his response rose his eyebrow, "Aren't Chu Yan your friend? Why don't you ask him about his contact information?"
Li Wenchao: "Why do you need his contact information?" The deep warning was showcased at the end of his voice.
Director Rong laughed dryly, "Don't make that face. I don't intend to battle with Chu Yan. I have no thought about the beauty!" Thinking about the physique of the cold director, he shivered. How could he fight one-on-one with his fat body? Besides, his age would consider as a grandfather to the young man. Certainly, he had other ideas. "I have a character that suits him the best. The scenes were few, but it's also significant."
Li Wenchao nodded, realizing something, "Suan Zhe?"
The director smiled and clapped, "Yes, it's him. Don't you think he suited him the most?"
Li Wenchao didn't agree nor disagree. Currently, he was filming his new series with the genre of a historical fantasy.
Since developing his acting career, Li Wenchao was labeled as an actor with the most promising career. All his movies and tv shows dominated the ratings in both local and international. Even with his bold and flirty personality, he harvested a million of fans that were willing to support him.
Recently, he occupied the top searches at the news of him being the male lead of a fantasy series adapted from an award-winning novel. The fans were excited about his performance and even bought a book to support him.
The novel was about a young man, Franco, who was despised by his family because of his unusual eyes. He was bullied and mistreated, neglected and abused by his relatives. Only the dying mother was there to support him. The young Franco endured the difficulties and successfully cultivated into a caring person.
For him to grow, his mother was assassinated by his father's concubine, right in front of his eyes. The strange power filled his body, at the same time, his left eyes glowed darkly. In just one swift, the scream of the concubine circulated the whole place. Franco only saw a corpse after regaining his consciousness.
Scared, he left the house with his mother's corpse. He cried while burying the body, reminiscing the memories, and soaking in the rain, in the middle of the night. What he was burying is not only his dead mother, but also his heart.
He believed that not avenging everyone who had hurt him would result in something good in the future. Be kind, like his mother taught him. But what else is there to be kind of? No one in this world is indebted to endure the suffering. The world is unkind, so why would he be kind?
The journey of his growth was tackles in the book. It was a fantastic novel experience, it even won several awards.
Li Wenchao could obviously nail every role he took over. And as Franco, his performance was outstanding. The other cast on the crew were also good. But there is one problem. Aside from Franco, the protagonist, the other most exciting character that novel readers wanted to see, was the potential love interest of the male lead. Suan Zhe.
Although, there is no romance category in the book, many readers assumed that Suan Zhe was Franco's love interest. Only Suan Zhe would be treated kindly by the now cold and ruthless Franco. They have no specific romantic qualities in the book, but actions tells otherwise. But it was not because Suan Zhe was the potential love interest of Franco that readers were excited about him, but because of how exaggerated the author describe his looks.
How exaggerated?
Two pages of the book wasn't enough to narrate how noble and beautiful his appearance was. All the details, from head to toe, were written in flowery words. It made the readers shrieked in exhilaration whenever his name was mentioned.
Clearly, the standards of choosing a suitable candidate were high. Many top entertainment agencies send their most beautiful and talented newcomers and veteran actors. But Director Rong was still dissatisfied. In the first place, adapting this novel is risky, however, none can imagine how many achievements this could obtain once being successful. Naturally, he was diligent in selecting an actor for this specific character.
But until now, he doesn't find a good one.
He even tried listening to the reader's suggestions about the actors that suited Suan Zhe, but it was still far from the book. They have already taken the scenes in halfway, Suan Zhe should appear on the next scene. Director Rong was slowly losing hope and already planning to decide an actor when he saw the young man.
The young man overly gorgeous appearance was like a mix of vibrant colors, full of brilliance. It was a beauty that beyond mortal, like a perfect piece of art. Director Rong was immediately excited.
Li Wenchao is a close friend of the rumored fiancé of the young man, with this, he believed he could convince the young man to join the crew.
Li Wenchao looked again at the Director, he pursed his lips and think again. If the young man became Suan Zhe, then that could create an interaction between them, right? His lips raised.
"I will ask Chu Yan about this."
Director Rong's face became brighter, he chuckled loudly: "Good. Wenchao, you should definitely convince him!"
"But before that, we have to make sure that no other third party had heard about this!"
The forgotten little makeup artist: "....."
Yan Li stared at the investigation report, shocked and angry. He couldn't believe it for a while and looked at the paper again. Lian Zhinan. Lian Zhinan. Lian... Lian Chen's little brother.
Lian Zhinan. He was actually Lian Chen's brother! The one he wanted to get rid of.
The vase was smashed, and the cleaning maid almost jump out in shocked. She looked at the furious young master and instantly lowered her head. Damn, what is the problem now?
Yan Li couldn't believe it. He remembered his ruthless words to Chu Yan, he gnashed his teeth and smashed the things in his table. With just one look with the young man, he strangely becomes possessive.
Chu Yan… that cunning bastard!
He grabbed his phone and dialed his number. It only took a second before the call was picked up.
"Hello?"
"Chu Yan, aren't you explaining something?" Yan Li was able to control his anger and asked in a deep voice.
There was a silence on the other line, before responding, "What do you want me to explain?"
Yan Li laughed without humor and spatted, "Chu Yan, I didn't know you would step this low. Lian Chen's brother, how dare you abduct him. Are you that lonely, you son of a bitch?"
"Yan Li, if your concern was about Lian Zhinan's identity, don't worry. Lian Chen already pay off his sin, no need to dragged his little brother."
"That's not my point. Lian Zhinan isn't supposed to be with you. Knowing you, I was certain that you tricked him. In what way?" Yan chuckled even more, "That you will release his brother once he became couple with you? Did you forget something?"
Chu Yan's calm voice turned chilly, "Yan Li, I didn't know you cared about Lian Zhinan. Isn't you who wanted to drive him out the most? Leaving nothing but a weak body? Don't tell me you became interested with him now that he became my fiancé?"
Yan Li swallowed and gritted his teeth. Veins showed up in his arms as his gripped tightened on the phone: "Chu Yan, I respect you as a friend and I wouldn't dare compete with you. Let Lian Zhinan go."
"Yan Li, you are speaking nonsense. How do you know Lian Zhinan is forced?"
Yan Li regretted it. Perhaps because of his impatience that day that he created an opportunity for Chu Yan to glimpsed at the immeasurable treasure. If he had known, Yan Li could only compromise now.
He threatened in his cold voice, "Chu Yan, if you don't want Lian Zhinan to know that his brother is long since dead, let him go."
