Chapter 5: Moving on

"I will allow you to stay with me but in another room. You will help me with everything needed & tell me what your family is planning next. Don't break my trust & nothing will happen. And if you ever thought about breaking it, then I swear it won't end well for you."

"Really..." asked the girl in an anticipating tone. If Leon agreed, then she won't have to live that life anymore. She could be free from many things.

"Yes."

"You promise."

"Yes, I promise."

"Thank you." Hearing the words, Lina jumped from the bed joyfully & hugged James, who was taken by surprise from this sudden movement. Still, he didn't hate it. If she was happy with these little things, then let her be.

After hugging him for a moment, Lina let him go. Her cheeks were completely red from embarrassment, as she didn't think of anything in excitement. But why did Leon say nothing? Did he like it? There were many questions, but it was not the right time to answer.
