Chapter 35: Strong feelings

Edward materialised inside Samantha's room and found her sleeping soundly like a child.

She looked so beautiful and peaceful. Edward heaved a sigh, he was contemplating whether to wake her up or not.

Edward kneeled on the cold tiled floor. Sam's face was half covered with her black silky hair.

" Samantha, wake up," Edward whispered, caressing her cheeks soothingly.

" Edward!" She exclaimed when her eyes slid open.

" Yes, it's me, Samantha." Edward's lips curved into a sweet smile. His heart melted upon the mention of his name.

His name coming from her lips was like a sweet melody which he wished he could listen to forever.

Samantha woke up and wrapped her hands around Edward's masculine body. She closed her eyes slightly and a single tear dropped from her eyes.

All that she wanted was for someone to hug her tightly. Sometimes she feels like giving up completely, like the world has lost meaning to her.
