Xasha could finally feel at ease as he climbed to the second step. Adara was beyond confused when she saw they had only climbed a single step after going through such hardship. She'd been having a hard time since climbing the mountain. It felt like time paused around her as the years raced past at blinding speeds. Now she felt like she was moving while time stayed still. If not for that calm smile on her father's face, her anxiety would skyrocket.

Her foot landed on the second step, and the white world around her changed. She was back inside her room in Stardust City, then the scene switched, and she was in her room in Sutherland. Adara frowned when she saw those scenes. This was supposed to be a time-space loop. How is it now influencing her mind?
