Chapter 144: Verra (2)

Verra's lightning river was one of the most powerful innate abilities on the continent. It is a rare ability seen once or twice in an eon. The ability is called liquified lightning, which is not wrong. It is an electrically charged liquid with voltage so high it would put lightning to shame. 

It does not have the essential characteristic of lightning. There is barely any light, only a slight glow, and no high temperature. What made this lightning river special... no dangerous is that it contains anti-matter. 

Calling it lightning is an understatement. It is like a black hole that cancels out Imperium. It does not absorb it or displace it; it destroys it. Once Imperium comes into contact with the lightning river, it no longer exists. This ability goes against nature. Any Imperium it touches is gone from the world and can never be absorbed or used by anyone again.
