Chapter 145: Ryuu's birthday (Part 2)
Ryuu and Kakashi arrived at the Hokage's office and gave their mission report.
"I see…
Well, in that case, I'm glad I sent you two. Happy birthday again, Ryuu.
I got you this."
Sakumo removed two pairs of blades.
"One pair is for Kakashi since I didn't give him anything last time.
They're lighter than my light blade.
They're also sharper and can harness chakra better, I'm sure you have better weapons than this but I just want you to have them, that's why I asked Rikuto to make them."
"No, they're fine, thanks," Ryuu said with a smile.
"Well, I'll let you go now, you have a party to attend, don't you?"
Ryuu nodded.
"Right, thanks," Ryuu said as he left with Kakashi.
They went to the changing rooms to get rid of their Anbu uniform.
"So, will you tell Mina what happened to her clan today?"
"Yeah, after your party, I'll tell her."
"Great."
"How about you?"
"Me?" Ryuu turned to face Kakashi.
"Don't you remember the thing you were supposed to do today?"
"I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I've been busy kicking ass and saving lives, you know."
Kakashi rolled his eyes.
"Just hurry and let's go already."
"Patience, Kakashi." Ryuu put on his Uchiha high-collar shirt and some black pants and they left.
"See you at Kenji's place." Ryuu teleported away.
"I don't even know where it is…
Sigh." Kakashi walked to Mina's apartment while Ryuu went to the Senju compounds.
Knock knock knock…
"Ichika it's me, I'm back."
Ichika opened the door.
"Right on time, I just finished getting ready."
'Ichika wore a tight black sleeveless dress with black sleeves on each hand and a red headband.
And a red skirt covering her front and back with the leaf forehead protector on her waist.
It's hard to believe she wears this on missions, too.'
"What's wrong?"
Ryuu blushed and started sweating.
"N-n-nothing, it's just that… don't you think these clothes will be a little distracting for someone working with you?"
"Distracting? How so?"
"Well, umm… never mind." Ryuu nervously smiled and scratched his head.
"Let's go, right?"
Ichika nodded.
"So do you know this other house he was talking about?" Ryuu asked.
"How should I know you're like his idol, right?"
"That's true, but you're a fan of his, I figured you'd know more about it than I do, you know."
"Whatever that's supposed to mean, I'm not his fan." Ryuu smiled at Ichika's words.
"I can sense him from here, he has a unique chakra signature, and he has my seal on him, let's go now."
Ryuu put his arm around her waist and teleported to Kenji.
"Nobu told me you don't have to be in contact with me to teleport."
"Oh, that's right." Ryuu started sweating.
'I told you not to talk to her…' Nobu scoffed and continued sleeping.
"Force of habit, I guess." Ryuu said.
"Woah…" Ichika's eyes widened as she stared at the giant building.
She didn't listen to anything Ryuu said, because she was in awe of the giant building ahead of her.
'Unlike his other mansion, this one had little security, it was tall and more like a luxurious apartment with glass windows and marble floors.
Built more modernly with a field behind it.
I'm guessing few people know about this place, I can sense some sort of room below, I'll ask him about it later.
But I can also sense someone else with him, aside from my friends, well, two people.'
Ryuu snapped back to reality as Ichika pulled him.
"Come on, we're already late enough."
Ryuu nodded.
"There you guys are!" Ryuu smiled, hearing Obito's voice again.
'After bringing him back, Obito was promoted to an Anbu immediately, he's been in my team and just came back from a mission.
Although, he didn't waste time going to get Rin.' Ryuu greeted his teammates.
"Where's Kenji?" Obito asked.
"It seems we arrived right on time, after all."
Kenji was holding hands with a girl. She had dark straight hair that reached her waist, and sharp green eyes, and she wore a red, long dress.
"Sorry for taking so long to arrive, I wanted you to meet someone."
"Ryuu, this is Matsuya Kohari, she's my girlfriend."
'Damn… Kenji too? What a drag…'
"Oh, it's good to meet you." Ryuu held his hand out.
"Good to meet you too." Matsuya shook Ryuu's hand.
"I'm glad that you've both met, she didn't believe me when I told her we're friends."
Kenji added, as he smiled and scratched his head shyly.
"Anyway, I had a cook-nin to make a feast for us, right this way."
Ryuu and the others followed Kenji.
They walked to the dining room where they found it was set up perfectly and lit candles on the sides.
"Ichika, let me get that for you."
Ryuu pulled her seat back.
"Oh my hero, what could I do without you?" She asked sarcastically.
"Probably sit down, you know."
He replied sarcastically, making Ichika chuckle.
Ryuu sat next to Ichika and across Kenji and Matsuya, beside him was Kakashi, who sat next to Mina across Obito and Rin.
Many servers came with different food. Ramen, steak, chicken, all of them were there.
Ryuu was staring at them, his eyes glowed and he was almost salivating.
Ichika looked at him and almost laughed.
Noticing that he had already made a fool of himself in front of Ichika, Ryuu tried to change Ichika's mind by telling her about one of his previous missions as a Jonin.
"I see… Ryuu, you want to serve us all as a courtesy and sign of respect, huh?" Kakashi asked.
"..." Ryuu glared at Kakashi.
'Damn you Kakashi…'
"Sure, I don't mind serving you all… on my birthday."
"Just as I'd expect from my brother. How kind of you."
Ryuu forced a smile to please everyone else.
'Really? the brother card?'
After Ryuu served everyone, they feasted.
It surprised Matsuya and Mina to see Ryuu's mythical appetite; they were the only ones on that table who hadn't seen Ryuu eating after a mission.
After eating, there was a cake that was brought with candles on top.
Ryuu made his wish and blew the candles out.
"Happy birthday, Ryuu!" Ryuu smiled and thanked them all.
After that, Ryuu headed upstairs, there was a balcony Ryuu sat on the edge with one leg up.
Across Ryuu was a lovely view of Konoha and the forest, but that wasn't what Ryuu was looking at.
Ryuu was gazing at the stars, thinking about his parents. He was so much in his mind he didn't even notice Ichika behind him.
"The guests are leaving. Come, say goodbye to them."
"Huh?" Ryuu smiled, finally noticing Ichika.
"What were you saying? I didn't hear you, sorry."
"I said you should come and say goodbye to Kakashi and the others. They're leaving."
Ryuu nodded.
"I'll be there shortly."
"Alright." Ichika gazed at Ryuu before closing the door.

Meanwhile, at Sakumo's house, Ryuu's clones were taking care of Naruto until they felt a mob of people heading their way.

"I'll go check it out."
One of them suggested it and left.
The clone found multiple people gathered and heading toward the house, and he stood in front of them.
"Ryuu-sama? Why are you protecting that monster? He killed the 4th Hokage, and he killed my brother!"
"Sigh."
Ryuu sighed and held his head.
"So how do you think you're helping yourselves by antagonizing an infant?"
Ryuu's presence was enough to knock the anger out of many people all at once. Once he got there and stood in front of them, he threw them off and now they started thinking logically; they halted their movements at once.
"Listen, treating the child like a monster and an outcast will do nothing but make him one, the best thing you can do is to help him get stronger by supporting him." They all frowned.
"Support him? He killed our loved ones, our families are dead! Why would we support him?! He's a monster!"
His comments made them all angry once again.
"Sigh."
"I said that's what would be the best thing, but I know you all too well… you're all far too stubborn to do that.
Just don't do anything as stupid as trying to attack him ever again.
Usually, I would report this to the Hokage but I'll let this slide this once.
Naruto is off-limits. He's my family, my little brother, so messing with him will have deadly consequences."
They frowned and looked away in shame and fear. After all, none of them even stood the slightest chance against him. It's not like they had a choice.
"Is that understood?" They nodded.
"Now go, I don't want you to wake him up, and it's bothersome getting him to fall asleep."
The clone teleported back home.
---------------- ( Kenji's mansion.)
Ryuu rejoined the others as they were leaving.
"Hey Ryuu, I have to go, we have to sleep early, we have an early shift tomorrow and possibly a mission too."
"Alright, see you later, Kakashi.
You too Mina, thanks for coming."
"This was fun Ryuu, I hope you enjoy the rest of the night." Ryuu smiled and nodded.
"Obito, Rin, you should probably go with Kakashi and Mina, you'll save time like that, I'll see you both tomorrow."
They nodded.
"Happy birthday Ryuu. Remember to open my present, it's from both Rin and me, ok?"
Ryuu nodded.
"Thanks a lot, Kenji, I hope I'll see you again."
"Wait, Ryuu, can we talk?"
Ryuu looked at Ichika to see if she was in a hurry.
They were supposed to leave together.
"It's OK, I can wait." Ryuu nodded.
"Sure thing."
"Follow me." Ryuu followed Kenji into the other living room.
Kenji closed the door as they entered the living room.
There was a TV, a bookshelf, and a couch and in front of the couch was a glass table with a remote and a drink on top of it, the floor had a white carpet and on the wall was a target for practicing shuriken jutsu.
"I've been practicing a lot since that time they kidnapped me, my father had me taking lessons from Tokubetsu Jonins but eventually, I surpassed most of them and their expectations and so, I thought to expand my skills using my resources."
"What do you mean?" Ryuu asked.
"I haven't shown this to anyone apart from the ones who made it."
Ryuu wondered what Kenji was talking about.
Kenji walked over to the bookshelf and skimmed through the books and stop at one of them.
"Got it." He pulled the book, and it triggered a secret door to open, the fireplace rotated and opened a space that led to another room.
"Come in," Kenji said as he led Ryuu inside the secret room.
