Chapter 46: Tsunade's return.
Once Ryuu teleported back to Tsunade, he found her and Shizune asleep.
"Wake up Lady Tsunade!"
He shook her, hoping she'd wake up but she was knocked out cold.
"Sigh" Lady Tsunade sure is hard to deal with, well while I'm here I guess I could have some food, however, I'll have to repay Tsunade later because I'm going to be using her things.
Ryuu went to the kitchen of the hotel and opened the fridge.
"Nothing! The whole fridge is empty?" Ryuu slapped his forehead.
"Fine, I guess I'll have to buy some ingredients myself."
Ryuu left for the shops.
"While I'm here I should also get Tsunade and Shizune some stuff, it's a real shame that Tsunade is using all her money on gambling and drinking."
Ryuu was done shopping and walked back to the hotel, while he was on his way there, someone bumped into him causing everything he had to fall to the ground.
"Hey, why don't you look where you're going, you bastard!"
The guy who bumped into him didn't even look back, he just sprinted away.
"Eh, I'll let you get away with it only because I have places to be."
He said.
"Help! Help! A thief stole from my family!" A man yelled.
"It must've been that guy I bumped into earlier, I can still stop him without making a scene."
Ryuu threw three kunai in the air and another which deflected them causing them to hit the thief on all his limbs.
Ryuu used his Sharingan to put him in a genjutsu then he tied him up and left him on the floor.
"Hey kid, That was amazing! Are you a shinobi or something?"
I nodded.
"I'm a genin from the hidden leaf village."
He was stunned.
"Wow, a genin with that level of Shurikenjutsu?
It's amazing how kids these days are just getting better anyway, thanks for the help.
That guy broke into our home and stole my family's savings but thanks to you we'll be fine now, if you ever need something, look for me I'll help you out."
I nodded and went back into the hotel.
I knocked and no one answered.
"I guess they must still be asleep.
I'll leave a seal on the door, just in case I need to teleport here, I wouldn't want to find Tsunade naked, she'd kill me, it's not worth the risk, or is it?"
Ryuu entered through his previous seal and started preparing a meal, Ryuu's talents didn't limit themselves to being just a shinobi, he was gifted in many things, including cooking.
As he was cooking, he started remembering those times he would help his mother in the kitchen and a tear rolled down his eyes.
"Ryuu are you crying?"
Ryuu was startled.
"Shizune?"
Ryuu turned back to find that she was awake.
"N-n-no, it's just, Umm, the onions I'm chopping and the chili on the stove."
He said.
"Right." She rolled her eyes.
"Anyway, what are you doing here? I thought Lady Tsunade told you not to come back until you finished the books she gave you?"
She asked.
Ryuu took a deep breath and said.
"Well, I came here to tell her that I'm finished reading the books she gave me plus the books in the library, but when I arrived both of you were still asleep.
So I decided to make something but when I came to the kitchen, there was nothing there so I went to get some ingredients and on my way back some thief bumped into me.
At first, I was just going to let local authorities handle it but then this old man called out for help.
Then I helped him out, after that I came back here and started making food.
Then you came here and some onions and pepper got in my eyes and that's why I was crying… I mean, just forget it."
Ryuu ran out of breath.
"Wow, you sure know how to keep a story short huh?"
Ryuu smiled and scratched his head.
"By the way, that food smells amazing."
Ryuu smiled and thanked her.
Once the food was almost ready Shizune went to wake up Lady Tsunade.
"Lady Tsunade, wake up!"
She slowly got up.
"Shizune, what is that? It smells amazing."
She said as she was rubbing her eyes.
"Actually Lady Tsunade, it's Ryuu who's making the food." She said.
"Ryuu!? What the hell are you doing here!?" She yelled.
Ryuu smiled and said
"You told me to come back here when I was finished, so here I am."
He finished cooking and served the food.
"By the way Lady Tsunade when I came here you were empty on everything so I bought you stuff, so I guess you kind of me for that."
A tick appeared on her head as she punched Ryuu.
"On second thought I guess I could overlook this."
Ryuu went to sit down and eat, Shizune was already finished eating when he started.
"You're already done, Shizune?"
She excitedly nodded.
"This is the best food I've ever eaten!"
Tsunade rolled her eyes.
"I'm sure it can't be that good."
She said as she took her first bite.
After She took her first bite she immediately stopped frowning.
"Ryuu, where did you learn to cook this?" She excitedly asked.
"Well, it's my mother's secret recipe."
Ryuu said with a smile on his face.
They finished eating and went back to training.
"Ryuu, this is a test to determine whether you read the books."
She asked me multiple questions for at least an hour and a half.
"You read all the books in just a day?" I nodded.
"You've proven to be quite interesting, maybe by the time I finish teaching you, you'll be better than me."
She said.
"Tsunade thinks I'm interesting! Suck it Jiraiya-sensei!" He said to himself.
"Let's go then." She said as she was packing her bags.
"Go where?" Ryuu asked.
"Well obviously back to Konoha, I can't properly teach you here, are you stupid?"
Ryuu sulked and murmured,
"You know, you could've just answered nicely."
A tick appeared on her head.
"What was that!?"
"Nothing, Lady Tsunade, I was just saying Konoha will be happy to have you back."
She nodded.
"Well, don't get your hopes up, I'm only staying there until we finish your training, after that, I'll leave."
She finished packing and so did Shizune.
"Lady Tsunade are you sure you want to go back, considering what happened last time you were there?"
Shizune asked.
Tsunade nodded and said
"I know it will be hard but, Ryuu was right, Dan, Nawaki, and everyone I've lost including my grandfather would be ashamed if I were to turn my back on Konoha."
After confirming her decision, Ryuu held the two of them and teleported back home, she was greeted by so many people, she was already the talk of Konoha people admired her for being a legendary Sannin and the granddaughter of the First Hokage Hashirama.
After greeting some people we headed to the Hokages office, unfortunately, we didn't get to see Jiraiya-sensei or Orochimaru-sama but that wasn't a problem.
She was about to open the doors of the Hokage's office when an Anbu member stopped her.
"Sorry ma'am, the Hokage is busy, he said no one should disturb him, you can see him later."
A tick appeared on her head, but I spoke before things got extreme.
"Don't you have any idea who you're talking to? This is Lady Tsunade one of the legendary sannin and the granddaughter of Lord first."
He looked at her and said.
"Wouldn't she look a lot older than her? Don't play me for a fool…" Ryuu put him in a genjutsu, Tsunade was starting to get angry.
They entered the office…
Sarutobi-sensei's eyes widened as soon as we entered.
"Impossible." He said.
"Tsunade?" He dropped his pipe, Ryuu caught it before it hit the floor.
"Good to see you, Sarutobi-sensei."
She hugged him.
"I don't understand, the last time we spoke you had no interest in coming back so soon, what happened?"
He asked.
"Well, I Met this aggravating kid who had to fight me for me to understand that I needed to come back here." She said as she looked at Ryuu.
"Hey! I'm not annoying."
"Shut it."She said.
"Whatever, I'm going while you catch up with the old man." Ryuu teleported to the training grounds expecting to find Kakashi, but no one was there.
"I wonder where he is?"
He asked himself, he teleported to a seal he placed on Kakashi.
He found Kakashi playing football with Might Guy and the others.
"Hey, can I join?" He excitedly asked.
"Sorry Ryuu, the teams would be unfair, you're too good." Some other kid said.
Ryuu frowned and looked down
"Oh, ok then." He said in a low tone before teleporting back home.
"where is he going?" Kakashi asked.
the kid shrugged and
"I don't know, I told him he could come play but he just left."
Kakashi didn't believe it but Ryuu was too far now.
Ryuu spent the rest of the evening reading his book for more Jutsus to learn, eventually, it became nighttime, Ryuu fell asleep on his book.
The next day Ryuu woke up early and teleported back to where he usually trains, he spent five hours meditating.
"Damn it I forgot to ask Jiraiya-sensei about sage mode, I have to go and find him."
Ryuu set off to Jiraiya's house.
