Amelisaa's words stopped when she saw Ivy appear. Something that took them both by surprise when Ivy stood still. One hand touched her growing belly.

"Secret? What secret is it?" Ivy asked. His eyes turned back and forth to his mother-in-law and husband.

For some reason, when Theodoric said goodbye to his parents' palace, he wanted to follow him. He wanted to know. And now, he heard something that made his heart beat fast.

Theodoric's face looked panicked. He widened his eyes when his eyes really saw his wife in front of him as well as his mother.

Amelissa was just as surprised, but then she smiled slyly at her son. "Oh, my dear daughter-in-law doesn't know it yet," said Amelissa in a contrived voice.

"What don't I know?" Ivy asked.

"He and Katarina had a relationship!" said Amelissa in a loud voice.
