Derion was ready early in the morning, making Ivy curious as to what her son would do. She approached him who was wearing his shoes alone.
"Good morning, Derion," said Ivy.
"Hi, mother. Good morning!" Derion replied.
"Where are you going? Why are you ready so early?"
"Father took me to hunt some animals for food in the palace. I am very excited to go with him, mother."
Ivy was surprised that Theodoric hadn't said anything last night about him going hunting today. And again, her husband didn't ask for her permission to invite Derion for the first time.
She immediately left Derion and looked for her husband's whereabouts outside the palace. And she found it in the stables. Ivy lifted her dress slightly and approached her husband. The servants left the two of them only then did Ivy vent her frustration.
"Why do not you ask my permission first to take Derion out hunting, Theo?" Ivy asked.
