Chapter 65: Innate fear

Within the forest, in the deepest part, where humans would not dare venture unless they were of enough strength. There stood a massive tree; it was silver. Void of the lush beautiful violet leaves of its kind, or sign of life. This is because it had died several millennials past. Times before the once lowly creatures rose from mere stone, trees, and animals without a sense of self.

Now they have scattered throughout the world upgrading for survival and dominion. Of course, there are the humans, beasts, plants, birds, sea types, and stone types that compete in their respective territories, but at present, those standing at the top are the human species who can form a bond with them; either beating them into submission by force or agreement.
