Chapter 20: Breakfast with Mr Cumberbatch 2

"You are here. " The voice of Mr Cumberbatch announced in a cheery tone. My eyes slanted feeling the ringing of alarm bells in my head. I felt as though this was a 'pothole I'm about to fall in', I should back away but how without being rude?

(shortly before her arrival...)

The Cumberbatch residence

"She is a hard-working girl. I also know that she was born here but has an air of one from a big family. She would make a great girlfriend and will stop your mother's side from sending those messy Lil girls to you." The young man clenched his hands into fists, trying to keep his temper in check. It had been almost two years since returning to the island. His uncle speaking in their dialect caused him to frown, it is not as though he did not understand but it had been a while.
