Chapter 2493: Interception

Simone wanted to join forces with Fang Heng, but the chaotic battlefield and the pervasive black fog made it impossible for him to spot Fang Heng's figure.

Suddenly, a shadow flashed in front of him. The black fog was swirling around a phantom that materialized right in front of him.

Simone's expression changed dramatically. He raised his fist and launched a punch forward, the strike imbued with sharp, cutting energy.

"Bang!!!"

The black fog was blown apart by the punch, but the explosive force sent Simone staggering backward several steps. The bracelet on his wrist began to flicker with dark light.

"Stop."

With a whoosh, Fang Heng appeared in front of Simone, blocking the path of the black fog's attack. He nodded toward the figure hidden within the black fog and said, "He's my people."

A young figure gradually emerged from the black fog, glanced at Fang Heng, and then disappeared back into the mist without saying a word.
