Chapter 449: Bestfriend

During lunch Charlotte never stopped smiling, the sweet attitude shown by Christian made her even happier. Charlotte also couldn't wait to show Christian the results of her pregnancy check-up. With all the preparations she and her father had prepared long ago, Charlotte was sure that her plan would work this time.

"Drink first Christ," Charlotte said softly as she handed Christian a glass of water.

Christian accepts the glass Charlotte gave him and chugs it down without remainder. "Thank you."

Charlotte nodded slowly.

"You seem very busy lately, is there any problem going on at the company, Christ?" asked Chester quietly.

"Daddy." Charlotte immediately reacted quickly. "Don't discuss work while at the dinner table, Christian is also eating."

"Cher." Christian touches Charlotte's hand gently. "Don't be like that, I'm done eating."
