Another day passed, and her fever finally went down. Li Caiyi didn't have a headache as much as before, but she didn't want to stay in bed all the time. She tightened her cardigan before walking out of her room.

Su Suyin was preparing breakfast in the kitchen when she noticed her eldest daughter come out of her room. She put down whatever she was holding and approached her. "Xiaoyi, how are you feeling? You should stay in bed more."

Li Caiyi smiled. "I'm fine, Mother. Brother Jie took care of me well. I felt much better than before."

"Good if that's the case. But you shouldn't move around too much, or you will get dizzy again."

"En. I'll be careful."

Su Suyin stroked her head gently before saying, "Are you hungry? I have prepared some chicken porridge for you. I was about to bring it to your room, actually."

No wonder the smell was so good. "Yes, I think I'm hungry."
