As soon as Lucius heard that voice, he immediately turned around, with his gun pointed to the person who had said that, however, he soon relaxed his muscles when he saw who it was.

Marius chuckled. "Calm down, boy, it's just us. Did you really think we wouldn't defeat those bastards?" he asked.

Lucius sighed in relief before nodding his head. "Yeah, yeah, you're right. Sorry," he said. 'So that bastard truly was bluffing,' the black-haired boy thought.

Marius tilted his head. "More importantly... where's Rosllyn?" he asked.

Lucius twitched a bit after hearing that. He was so caught up in his fight that he had totally forgotten about it.

Marius raised his brow. "...Lucius?" he asked.

Lucius sighed. "Sorry about that, but we ended up being attacked by surprise, and... well, he was the one that enemy decided to shoot first since he was the one cutting the tree," he explained.
