Chapter 180: Monster

Austria, October 24th 1800

10:18 PM

Lukas was in a room in the Royal Palace. The doctor and some servants were around him, taking care of his wounds.

The wound that got the most attention obviously was the cut on his stomach. If he hadn't dodged in the last second, he would have been cut in half.

Leonhard was leaning against the wall as he watched the doctors in action. They basically were only cleaning up the blood, and stitching up Lukas's wound on his stomach.

Soon enough, the doctor, who was crouching down, stood up as he sighed before turning to Leonhard. "Lord Lukas is fine, Your Majesty. He only needs rest now. Still my experience says that it's very likely that this wound will leave a scar," he said.

Lukas sighed in relief as the treatment was finally over. Having your wound stitched up wasn't a very pleasant feeling, after all.

Leonhard nodded his head. "Thank you, doctor," he said. "You may go," the dirty-blonde man finished.
