Chapter 71: Heartbreak

'They're knocking on the door,' Lukas thought as he reluctantly walked to the door.

Lukas took a deep breath before grabbing the handle and opening the door.

Lukas then saw Tobias and Violett standing beside him. 

Tobias seemed impressed to see Lukas there, but he quickly showed him his usual smile. "Oh, Lukas! What a surprise! How are you?" he asked.

Lukas nodded his head. "I'm fine," he replied, before shaking Tobias's hand.

Lukas then looked at Violett, she had an apprehensive expression on her face.

Lukas then walked closer to Violett and showed her a smile. "Hello, Violett. How are you?" he asked.

Violett sighed and shook Lukas's hand. "Uh... well, I heard that our engagement was broken off and Father called you to solve this. Do you know what happened?" she asked.
