Chapter 49: Glutton and Lust

When Raphael arrived to lend a helping hand along with some of the other Florentian knights—Valerie thought everything would be fine. Although not part of the elite Jaguar knights, they were still well-trained pure-blood vampires. It was just that they mostly work in Lapella. So that tense and life-threatening situations like this were not often experienced by them.

Lapella was a peaceful state. Both Florentia and Avalon were reluctant to make a fuss there. There were currently around seven uniformed Florentian knights blocking Lust—a skinny Monster Shadows with long, stiff hair that reached down to his waist. Lust roared. The corners of his eyes continued to search for Valerie's whereabouts.
