Chapter 35: The fiftieth anniversary
Han Xu was clad in a blue suit looking elegant, smart and dashing. All of a sudden a slap was heard. Slash!. Ning Quio had been slapped by Han Xu.
"This slap is for disrespecting my girlfriend", he sneered at her.
Slap! he slapped her again
"Don't try to ever hurt her, this slap is as a warning!",he said and held Ning Shuya arms into his and walked past the paparazzi. The reporters were still in shock at what had happened.
"Wait!", Ning Quio held Han Xu hands
"What is it?", he asked arrogantly and pulled his hands away as if she were disgusting.
"I have just one question for you"
"Go on", he said as if in a hurry
"Have I always pestered you in the past?", she asked
"Yes you did", he replied immediately
"From today onwards, I will stay away from you, we will be total strangers, I won't come near you and you won't come near me, we will be total strangers, I will have nothing to do with you", each word was said coldly.
Han Xu nodded his head in approval and left.
Everyone was talking about Ning Shuya since she was a very popular artist. But he couldn't compare to Lu Laoyang, to compare him with Lu Laoyang he was a nobody.
Gossip started about Ning Quio being a slut and trying to get other people's husbands. She walked into the hall of the anniversary and since she was a D-list artiste she would sit at the far back. Jun Li and Ning Shuya were in the first seats. Some people blamed the CEO of starlight for bringing Ning Quio since she would only disgrace them.
Somebody screamed and run to the director and whispered something into his ears.
Soon the door opened and an elegant god striking man entered. Everyone looked at him.
Ning Quio heard some murmuring and followed the crowds gaze her eyes met with Lu Laoyang eyes. She immediately looked away.
