Tang Yuxin gently touched her head, the light in her eyes turning icy cold.

The bus continued forward, and Tang Yuxin found herself touching her head again.

The two women across from her continued to feign indifference.

After about half an hour, she turned her face towards the window, where a series of numbers appeared – the bus license plate number.

She recited it twice, and committed it to memory. She felt as though she'd seen this number somewhere before... peculiar. Mumbling her confusion, she closed her eyes again.

She put a book over her face, and drifted off to sleep...

Suddenly, she jerked awake, her book dropping onto the floor.

She opened her eyes, picked up her book from the floor.

No one noticed the sweat beading on her forehead; even her clothes seemed close to being soaked. She hadn't sweat this much in a long time, no, not even in her past life which spanned two generations.

What was going on?
