Amelia Sanchez glanced at Oliver Foster as the two of them sat in the backseat while Christopher Calpo drove.

Christopher asked, "Brother Foster, should I get out and take a cab..."

"No need, just keep driving." replied Oliver.

Oliver looked at Amelia and asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I'm sorry to trouble you at such a late hour," Amelia replied, somewhat embarrassed that Oliver had to come out so late. Although they hadn't been apart for long, they had grown somewhat estranged.

"Anyhow, I couldn't sleep either. I'm not used to you not being around. Do you need to go to the hospital?"

"Yes, something happened to Safe, and I need to go see him. I don't know if he'll wake up... I remember it was the same with you, you wouldn't wake up!"

Thinking about Oliver's coma brought Amelia's mood even lower. She had brought Safe into this mess, and he could have lived a normal life but for her involvement.
