Chapter 26: What Kind of Woman

After seeing Amelia Sanchez off, Albert Brown changed his clothes and prepared to go out when he received a phone call from the property management downstairs.

"Mr. Brown, there's a lady downstairs claiming to be your mother, waiting for you."

Meanwhile, Mrs. Brown, who was stopped by the security guard, snatched the phone from him and yelled, "Albert Brown, I am your mother! Let the security guard let me in!"

Albert Brown's ears were ringing from her shout. He calmly told the security guard, "I'm sorry, but please let her come up."

The security guard whispered into the phone, avoiding Mrs. Brown's gaze, "Mr. Brown, if you don't want to see her, I can send her away."

It's such a pity that a nice guy like Mr. Brown has such a wicked stepmother.

Albert Brown smiled at the corner of his mouth, still calmly saying, "It's alright, let her come in."

The security guard could detect a hint of helplessness in Albert Brown's words.
