Chapter 34: It’s A Small World

10:00 AM.

Connor arrived at New Century Restaurant at last.

It was not lunchtime yet, but the entrance of New Century Restaurant was already fully parked by luxury cars. Those coming here were mostly fashionably dressed young people. Connor was wearing new clothes today, but he still looked a bit out of place compared to those people frequenting the restaurant.

Connor went straight in as he came in front of the entrance. The security guard at the entrance was stunned for a second when he saw how Connor was dressed. He held up his hand to stop Connor with a frown. "Are you here to apply for a job? You should go in through the back door."

"I'm not here to apply for a job. I'm here for lunch." Connor glanced up at the security guard and replied expressionlessly.

"You are here for lunch?"

The security guard looked doubtful and said nothing when he heard what Connor said. He just let Connor in.
