Chapter 19: Game Changer (Sam)

After finishing with the Greyman, I returned to my old room to wash the blood and sweat from my skin. Standing under the scorching hot water, I banish the monster inside of me to the deepest depths of my being, locking the door firmly shut behind it.

So rarely did I allow that part of myself to surface nowadays. If only there were a way to banish it for good, I would have done it. But the darkness was as much a part of me as was my own hand, intertwined with the very core of my being. I couldn't part with it without destroying a vital part of myself.
