Sam granted me the space I needed to collect myself after my mind-blowing orgasm. I felt embarrassed and stupid for freaking out at him when Sam had done nothing wrong. But I guess we were all a little broken. But tonight wasn’t about me. Sam was here and sober for what might have been the first time in two weeks. This wasn't about my problems; I didn’t need to send him into another episode by adding on more baggage. So when I reemerged from the bedroom, I plastered a smile on my face and when looking for him.
