Chapter 16: Ancient Sword 1
While all this was going on, Long Chen was still unconscious in a room in his courtyard, unaware of what kind of martial spirit he had awakened.
Long Chen wasn't actually completely unconscious, he was unconscious with his eyes closed. The place where Long Chen's consciousness was withdrawn was a huge palace. Long Chen had been staring blankly at this palace ever since he arrived, even in the immortal world, he had never seen such a magnificent palace in his entire life.
Long Chen finally recovered from his distraction and started walking towards the palace. He climbed the steps to the palace gate one by one and finally came to a large golden gate. Just as Long Chen thought that it was impossible to open such a door, the door opened on its own, surprising him.
No matter how surprised Long Chen was, he was not afraid because he had entered many dangerous tombs and hidden areas in the immortal world and hunted for treasure.
Long Chen walked towards the palace and started wandering around inside, but strangely, the palace that looked so majestic from the outside was a total ruin. Long Chen kept advancing, and every place he went was just the same rubbish as before.
Finally, Long Chen came to a large throne room, which was clean unlike the others, but it was completely empty except for the huge throne ahead.
"What a disappointment, there are no treasures," Long Chen said, shaking his head.
''You were always greedy!''
Suddenly, a voice came from behind Long Chen that made one's bones tremble.
Long Chen turned around in great fear, and his mouth fell open when he saw the person standing in front of him.
Opposite Long Chen was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his 3 lifetimes. Her beauty and aura made Long Chen speechless. The woman had jet-black hair and red pupils, her beauty was unexplainable in words.
But there was a problem that made Long Chen's bones tremble, the woman's red pupils were completely filled with coldness and death, Long Chen exposed to her gaze felt as if he could die at any moment.
Long Chen thought that she was the owner of this place, probably because she was angry that he was intruding. Long Chen finally calmed down and gathered his courage to speak up.
''I'm sorry to bother you, senior, I didn't enter here on purpose, I lost my way and came across this palace and I entered out of curiosity, but rest assured I had no bad intentions.''
As Long Chen continued to speak, he bent down and was unaware that the woman was not listening to him. Finally, the woman opened her mouth and began to speak.
''You are too late.''
Long Chen did not understand what the woman was talking about and was startled, he looked up at her and saw that the woman was still looking at him as if he wanted to kill him, but there was also a bit of sadness in his eyes, which confused Long Chen even more.
''Senior are you talking to me? Could you be confusing me with someone else?''
Long Chen thought that she was a bit confused, the whole palace was in shambles and this place had a very old air, it had probably been standing here for a very long time so it was possible that she was confused.
Just as he was about to open his mouth and begin to speak again, suddenly his body was lifted off the ground and the pressure was crushing his body from all sides.
''You promised me. You promised me you'd be right back," the woman shouted hysterically.
Long Chen could not make any sound, he felt like he was suffocating right now. He had no idea what this woman was talking about, he couldn't remember meeting a woman like her even in the immortal world, and if he did, how could he forget her. This woman, Long Chen, exuded an air that was far stronger than the strongest person she had ever met in the immortal world, such a character was impossible to forget.
Long Chen thought this woman was completely insane and was now completely hopeless.

''I waited for you but no matter how long I waited you didn't come back and in the end, they all went away and I was left all because of you you promised you would come back to us but you didn't. Long Chen was cursing his fate right now, what was this hot crazy chick talking about like this, even though he was only a spirit body right now, he could feel extreme pain. The woman shouted, but Long Chen had already fainted from her yelling, as his spirit was shaken.
