Chapter 17: Saving Padawan

Salyna Wren is breathing heavily. She cracked up her neck and loosened up her arms.

"Are you nervous my Padawan?"

"No, I'm excited master, I mean we gonna help master Luke after all"

Ezra looks down and a bit sad, making Salyna ask about it. "Are you ok, master?"

"Master Luke is already gone"

"What! How can you know? Does that mean we are too late!"

The other Mandalorian who is preparing a bit of a stunt and her master look at her asking to calm her voice. She could see it on her master's face. He then led her to a more private place on the corner of the hall. "I could feel it in the force, he is gone"

"I knew we should go to them much faster, why do we have to go back and ask for reinforcement?"

"Because if we don't we would not save anyone and if we were reckless about it we would kill everyone"

"Then why are we still headed toward Serapin?"

"Because we are gonna save the next future Jedi"

an alarm is sounded, they both look up and Salyna looks to her master with fighting spirits. They both go back to their places.

"In three, two, one, impact!"

The hammerhead is taken off from their fleet and goes straight to Iser Horn. 3 ships with a couple of fighters at their real guard. The mandalorian beskar shield and beskar spear. Not pure but strong enough. An elite soldier trains to be overwhelmed. The Mandalorian hammerhead managed to land in the hanger head first, with the other two landing near them. Their objective, save the Jedi and take back the Holocron. Some of them start shooting and some start making a wall of shields around their allies, helping Han and Chewy get to the ship but Han refuses to leave the Falcon behind. Rey asks the masked man to move back and retreat. An army of Mandalorians pierces and destroys the death troopers one by one. Going for their nack and all some takes hit in their armor.

Jap'firi, Ben, and Kylo both persuade both Rey and the person in black. Han sees his sons running away fastly tries to follow suit. Before he goes Chewy pulls his arms and tells him to tell the truth. Han's only answer is, "I'll try" Rey and the masked person then go their separate ways as the hallway is branching out into two. Jap Fire follows Rey while Kylo follows the man in the mask. Ben follows Kylo still feeling angry and pulls his lightsaber and tries to hit Kylo. Kylo deflected his attack while running. Suddenly an opening up at the end of the hall. The masked person is gonna walk toward the only plane at that hanger.

Kylo throws away his lightsaber and into the ships, causing damage to the ship. He tries to pull his lightsaber but before he could take it the masked man captures his lightsaber and immediately cut it in half before he could turn it on or pull it back in.

"How about you kill me later on kid"

"You kill my Master I am here for you"

"Yeah, but you can't kill me if I'm dead right?"

Ben looks at the man in the mask pulling a double-bladed sword. He runs toward them and jumps. Ben shielded Kylo and stopped the attack, "he is mine" Kylo pushed the person away, making him take a few steps, but then the person used the force to Push Ben to the wall, dropping his lightsaber. Kylo fastly steps forward and uses the force to pull Ben's lightsaber to him and the lightsaber fastly turns red and he slices the mask off his face showing half of the masked man's face with a tattoo.

Kylo and Ben both looks surprised

"Brothers?!"

"Mheirn?!"

Mheirn then suddenly attacked Kylo and almost sliced him as a deep wound was made suddenly. Kylo himself even didn't have any time to react, Mheirn attack using her lower blade from down to up. Ben can't move as he sees his brother walk to Kylo. Kylo looked up and in tears, "why? How? I didn't know about.."

A sound of footsteps entering the room, "why indeed".

Kylo looks to his left as he turns his head, "Master?.."

"You still dere called me Master after betraying me a second time, didn't you think I watch you as you arrive with the Jedi" she walks toward him and steps on his wound on his chest.

"This is no ordinary Mheirn, it is his body but now, he is something else.'' She steps and walks around the new Mheirn and looks at it up close touching his face, "shamefully a failed product, just our first version in DNA manipulation. He is my fail save for you, till you bring my daughter back.`` She giggles and walks toward Ben, Ben looks at the scene fastly taking his lightsaber and attacking Ziyla. Yet, the empress is much too quick but someone is faster. Ezra pulls his two lightsabers and stands in between them.

"Ezra Bridger.." Ziyla squits her eyes.

Ezra pushes Ben back and pushes Ziyla and Mheirn back.

"No don't, he is my brother!", Ben tries to reach him but Salyna holds him down.

"Ben! Ben! Ben! Stop it!" she hold Ben down, "look into his eyes, he is far gone. That's not your brother. We will be only in the way"

Mheirn step first and attack Ezra from the top while Ziyla goes for his foot. Ezra deflects them one by one waiting for the right moment to strike back.

Kylo was still breathing and raised his hand, "Organa..Mheirn Brother.." as he threw up some blood. Ben goes up to him, "what do you want?!"

"Avenge us! Kill that monster, don't let your brother become me!!" He pulled Ben's collar. Ben then asks for Salyna Lightsaber. He then put it on his chest and turned it on. Kylo exhales his last breath. Ben then looks at Ezra fighting and sees the right moment and strike Mheirn from the side. Salyna then pulls her blasters and shoots at Mhiern. He deflected all of them. Ezra throws one of his sabers to her and then Ben and Salyna are back to back with Ezra.

"Can you two handle him"

"Yes master!" she answered and Ben only said of course. They both start striking Mheirn all side, and finally, Ezra has some face-to-face with Ziyla.

"It's been far too long, Vice-admiral?"

"Padawan?" Ziyla ask back

"For Ashoka"

"For Thrawn" as Ziyla Said it, she runs toward him and goes under. Ezra's backflip and jump try to slice her from the top. She avoided it with a sidekick and then suddenly a third arm came out of her back and shielded her from his attack. After they both manage to get space between them, Ziyla takes off her cape and shows four arms that could extend so long. Suddenly the debris around them and the box start to float. The gravity in the area is getting weaker.

On the other side of the room, Ben is cornering Mheirn and suddenly Salyna shoots a grappling hook and tied Mhiern both legs. Before he could act, Ben used to form five and used brute force. Cut both his hands and quickly Salyna pull his legs, make him knees and Ben slice his throat and make his head fly off to the ground of the hangers. His body fell a second later.

Seeing Mheirn lose, Ziyla uses her two robotic arms to shoot a grappling hook to the wall. "Sorry, guess we have to settle this later on," she said while the robotic hand took her to the second floor and went away.

Salyna tries to fly after her as she says, "hey get back here" but Ezra asks her to hold her jet. "We got what we came for so the Holocron could wait." She feels disappointed. She then flies down and goes to Ben, "wait where is Jap?"

"Rey!" Ben says while having heavy breathing.

On the other side of the Isarhorn a few moments ago, Jap'firi ran toward Rey and on a hallway with glass almost around it. "Rey, stop!" she called out to her. She stops at the bridge in front of a door.

"Why are you doing this Rey? Please come back to us"

"Sorry Jap, can't, I just cant"

"Why not? Is it because she is your mother?!"

"No!!"Rey punches the glass wall with tears starting to drip. The gravity becomes weaker and the tears are floating.

"I will not fight you Rey" she walks closer to her as Jap'firi tries to reach her.

"Don't! Don't get closer! Please" she turns around and her red eyes meet Jap'firi eyes. Jap firi could see the tears floating. Rey then goes a step forward and attacks her in the short space they got. Jap'firi shielded herself and all on defense. Rey attacks aggressively and makes a scratch all over the glass bridge. The outer skin of the Iser horn started to open and showed the space around them and the battle as fighters flew around them. Rey then suddenly took the defense and then just like when they are training with their master. Rey sees that Jap'firi legs are too much to the front. Rey took that bait and unlike before, Jap is prepared and rather than fall because it uses a side lower kick and makes Rey fall as she goes for the stand and points her saber at Rey. "it's over, Rey, come home. please…"

"Sorry Jap, this is my home now" she looks down and then pushes her using the force to the end of the bridge and true the hallway. Han then arrives on time and shoots Rey while protecting Jap'firi. Rey stands up and runs toward the other side of the bridge dodging each shot

"REY!" Jap screams at her as she stands up, "I'm not giving up on you, master Luke never giving up on you, someday… you will be back…"

"Go home Jap '' Rey said suddenly a door is closing sliding down on them separating them. Suddenly the bridge is falling and Han hold Jap not to do something stupid as to open the door lock. It is the only thing that holds the small amount of oxygen left on the ships.

"We need to go back to the ship, kid" Han says to her as she nods. He asks about where his son went and she says about what happened. They all meet again with Ben and Jap asks him. "What happened to Kylo?"

"Long story," he says to her. They are running with the red alarm coloring the hallway.

"What is happening?" Ben ask Ezra

"Salyna?!"

"We just got intel that they putting the Iser Horn on explosive and evacuating"

"You could tell that sooner!" Ezra says to her

"Hey, we 're busy running to the ship alright," she said to her own master

"So they wouldn't let us blow a third death star"

As they back at the hanger and see the Falcon and a hammer ship waiting for them, "Let goes what are we waiting for"

"I will not abandon my ship!" as he runs to the Falcon and enters it, Ben comes with him. "Goes Jap, I'll make sure he is ok"

Han is in his pilot sits and tries to turn it on, "come on your peace of beauty, come on"

"Dad?! What are you doing, Let go with them, leave the ship"

"No way, I will not leave my ships"

"Dad!"Ben called out to him many times but he didn't listen and Ben pulled his own father's collar and punched him in his face. "Wake up old man, don't die on me right now and just leave the ship!!"

Han looks stunt and his mouth is shaking

"Is just a ship dad"

"You called me dad?"

"I guess I am"

Han then looks convinced and with Ben goes out of the Falcon. Salyna throws her grappling hook to pull them into the ship. Afterward, the ship managed to escape.

Inside the main Bridge, Ziyla sits on the main chair. "All four sanctions have been separated?"

"Yes empress, Cannon is ready to go on Hyperspace"

"Ask the other ships to prepare a retreat, we are going to the same route" she smiles as every 1st order ship goes into hyperspace after all the fighter is all back to the cruiser. The door suddenly opens from Ziyla back. "So how is it? Daughter?" She turns around and sees her daughter crying. She walks toward her, "I'm sorry I have to put you through this, but you already see in the Holocron remember? You can't choose between her and the galaxy" she then hugs her. People that were on the bridge looked a bit awkward cause they never see the sense of her motherly being shown like this in public.

Back at the Sarapin system,

Ben looks at Han as people are running on the med bay. He goes toward him, "I'm so sorry, because of me, master Luke."

"Don't be son, can you sit with me, Chewy is asleep"

"Yeah father"

"I'm sorry, the reason I'm not there is because… I'm afraid of the future.. When your mother gives birth to your brother I'm so happy but I have many enemies and the life I live in is too dangerous. I don't want to pull all of you into the life I have, and I am afraid of the life of a father. I don't know what to do and I have never had any children before… I .. just go back to what I know best…" as his hand ware shakes and he close he starts tearing up.

"Dad!" Ben holds his shaken hand, "I forgive you, you know. Brother look up to you. He once wanted to be you. He even designed his lightsaber like master Ezra that could shoot because he wants to be cool as you."

"He was a good boy, Khent…"

"He is, Thank you dad"

"For what? I didn't do anything"

"For inspiring him and me" Ben smiles at him and Han tears up as they hug.

A few moments later, Jap is looking through the windows as she sees the Serapin planet system. Ben walks to her and holds her shoulder, making Jap cries to his shoulder as they hug. Ben then whisper, "we will get her back, we will"
