Chapter 13: Reunion
Han brought Rose toward Leia's office as she was tied up and forced to sit.
"What is this?"
"The culprit of the bombing" Han says so sure of himself while Poe follows him from his back.
"There must be a mistake. Han, Rose have been my mechanic since I was the pilot in that X-wing…"
"Shut up poe, why do you think she was running when I was there?"
"Did you have proof of her doing?" Leia ask Han
"Did you see her do so? Did you manage to record her or any other proof that ties her in?" Leia stand up and walks to him
"Yeah!! The bomb pieces have a serial number and I track them to the underworld of Coruscant. Then someone with that equipment had a true republican account and whose account it is?"
Leia looks at Rose, "is this true Rose?"
"No, I have not used my credits to buy any parts. Even so, who would do such a thing and left a trail with obvious notice!! If it was me I will pull the credits first and buy it using physical credits… not that I ever done it or anything."
Leia shakes her head and rub her nose bridge, "Im gonna calls the guard in and hand her to the police?"
"The police?! She even not done with my X-wings"
"I'm gonna get you another Mechanic, I need you to fly now!!" Leia scream
Suddenly Ben enters with Luke and Jap'firi as Ben says to her, "Like you said Mother, I brought them back"
"So is what Ben says true?" she looks at Luke who nodded at her.
"We must go now!" Luke says to all of them as she nodded. The guard then comes in and takes Rose away, making a face of "what is happening " in the face of the 3 Jedi there, Leia then walks toward Han.
"Please Leia, let me redeem myself"
"Han, your not the Hero like before, we have our times here and I dont know if I could ever forgive you on what happen to our first child and then.. And then you left me"
"Then please let me make things right" as he walks toward her and kiss her hand as he walks away toward the door.
After they manage getting into Light speed. Han looks toward Luke. "what am I doing wrong Luke? What ever I did she never sees me the same way"
"Why did you leave her? When he dies, why did you leave?" Ben and Jap'firi who listen know too well what he is talking about.
"I dont have any choice"
"You always have a choice" Luke says to him, "till now you never even says sorry to her or Ben"
"You are one to say master, both of you are wrong. You only ever say sorry after what happened. Sulking yourself, I once looked up to both of you. Look at the two of you now" he bangs the wall and goes out of the room. Jap'Firi only look at them both, "you both are great heroes at some point, you both still just need to find the hero within" as she follows him away.
"Huh, look at me being lectured by my padawan. In the end we all still need to learn"
"We all are, now! Tell me what you learn" Han lean forward
"I check on the Jedi old record and I found an old record from the Clone wars era"
"And?"
"There once was an attack by a chiss commander from the sparatese side that was successful in surprising the republik and managing to take over Serapin. But… that's all there is.. In the republic archive the only notes are they manage to take it back in the short term. Yet no names found of the commanders beside the attack is approved by a count and former Jedi name Douku."
"You mean there is a cover up?"
"Yeah like someone try to rewrite the reality or the history of this"
"Did you suspect Palpatine was behind it?"
"I dont know…"
Suddenly Chewy comes into the room and makes a noise. Both Han and Luke look at him. " what! A ship?"
"Let them come, I knows this feeling"
