Chapter 40: Thinking of Nathan and Mia's feelings

Mia has received treatment on her leg after Michael took her to the doctor. By now she had arrived at the man's apartment area and was walking down the corridor to the elevator barefoot because she was still sick.

'Why is he not romantic at all, he should have carried me when he found out I was limping like this,' thought Mia, who was led by Michael. She felt a little disappointed but also grateful that Michael had responded so well to her. 'I hope he can be romantic one day and I will continue to make him fall in love with me.'

"I think tomorrow you just need to stay home," Michael muttered.

"I guess that's the way it should be," Mia said.

"And maybe I can't stay there tonight."

"Why?" Mia asked, glancing at Michael very curiously.

Michael smiled faintly then said, "I'll give you that answer later."

"You make me curious."
