Chapter 116: She Was Gone

Dahlia realized something was different when she stepped into the room to have her breakfast. Lily and Beatrice followed her slowly and they too noticed the way the other contestants stared at her - with animosity.

Nonetheless, Dahlia ignored them and went to sit down at one of the tables where some other contestants sat. However, the girls upon noticing her, took their leave immediately as if she was a plague they needed to avoid.

"Alright, either I'm seeing wrong or I think I'm being ostracized right now," Dahlia said, gladly occupying the position the girls had been, Beatrice and Lily doing the same. If anything, the girls gave them enough space to settle down.

"And we would be given the same treatment for being with you," Lily pointed out.
