Chapter 16: Chapter 15: The Things We Do For Love
(Roberts: POV)
Staring at Weisz my crew and I waited for him to begin speaking.
After taking a deep breathe and exhaling he finally did.
"First off, those guys that attacked us on the street earlier belong to the gang that rules Wishing Well. The Hyena gang, led by a name who is known as Kamekeno "Laughing Mad" Dorsey. A former pirate." Weisz explained.
"I see." I mused.
"Why were they after you, considering you are part of their organization?" Law asked.
"I'll say it once again I'm not with those guys." Weisz said. "I just do some work for them."
"You mean leading unsuspecting visitors to be robbed and killed." I said.
As I did so Weisz winced, but shook his head. Confirming my words.
"Yeah, I'll admit I do that. But I've got my reasons alright." Weisz told us.
"Which we don't care about." Alfia promptly retorted. "So, any idea why the Hyeana gang is after you?"
"Not a clue, except...What did you guys do with Farrell and his thugs?" Weisz spoke.
"We killed them all." I casually replied.
"What?!" Weisz shouted. "You killed them all!"
"Of course. They were going to kill us, so we simply reversed the situation and took them out instead. Simple as that." I spoke.
After I did so Weisz facepalmed. "That explains it. Why the Hyena gang is after me. They definitely found Farrell and his subordinates dead bodies in the warehouse."
"And since you worked with them and were the lost too see them alive the gang has assumed you most likely had something to do with their deaths." I said.
Weisz once again nodded his head in confirmation of my words.
"Now the picture is becoming clear." I said. "Except for the fact about how you know about devil fruits Weisz."
"I heard it from some of the older member of the Hyena gang. Some of them were pirates alongside the big boss Dorsey himself back in the day. They even told me Dorsey himself has devil fruit abilities, though I've never seen them for myself." Weisz explained. "There, I've told you everything you wanted to know and what I know."
Using my observation haki I confirmed Weisz is telling the truth.
"Alright. Let's move on." I spoke.
"What, there is nothing left for me to tell you!" Weisz shouted.
"What about the person you said will die if they don't get the money you have. The one you basically pleaded with us to deliver the money too after we killed you for screwing us over. The person you were willing to fight and kill us for. I would love to hear about them." I spoke.
The moment after I did so Weisz clamped his mouth shut tight. I also started to sense fear and worry from him through my observation haki.
Which just drives home how much Weisz cares about this person he will not mention to us by name.
"Well, we're waiting." I said.
"Never. I will never tell you about them. Even if you torture me, even if you kill me." Weisz stated. A serious expression on his face.
"I believe you." I told him. "Though I do wonder, if the Hyena gang can't find you then what about this precious person of yours that you will not mention to us name? Are they safe from the gang and Dorsey?"
The moment I finished talking Weisz got a panicked expression on his face.
He then leapt at my feet and bowed his head. "Please, help me!"
"Huh!" Alifa said. "It seems those things between your legs you call your balls are bigger than I thought. For you to ask us for help. Again, is your brain so small you don't understand the situation you are in?"
"I do. Believe me I do. And as I said before you can kill me, torture me, do whatever you want to me I don't care. Just please, please, help me save her. Help me save my mother!" Weisz begged.
"Your mother." I spoke.
Well given how Weisz has been acting I can say his actions make sense.
The bond of love between parent and child is a powerful thing in most cases.
While in some cases it doesn't matter in the slightest.
Linlin and Kaido I'm looking at you two.
"Yes, my mother." Weisz said, lifting his head up to look me in the eyes. "She's the only reason I'm doing all this shit in the first place." He told us.
Weisz then quickly explained that his mother one day became sick with a chronic illness. Due to this she cannot work nor by the medicine needs to keep the illness in check. That's why he started working with the Hyena gang. To make enough money to support himself and his mother.
"My mother is innocent in all this. She knows absolutely nothing about my activities. So I'm asking you, please, please help me save her. I don't even care about the money anymore. You can have it all, my life, whatever, just please. Help me save my mother." Weisz begged. Tears in his eyes as he did so.
"Ah, where do you live?" I asked him.
"Wait, you're going to help me?" Weisz questioned.
"Yeah, we are." I replied.
"We're not monsters after all." Alfia spoke.
"Yeah." Bepo agreed.
"You sure about this captain?" Law asked me.
"Yes, I'm sure." I replied to him. "And while we're at it let's take down the Hyena gang as well. I'm sure they have tons of valuables and other items on them."
"Wait, what?!" Weisz shouted. "Are you guys crazy?"
"A little bit." I retorted. "But then again we are pirates so being a bit crazy comes with the way of life."
"You guys are pirates." Weisz said.
"Yep." I said. "Now enough talk, let's go get your mother and then we'll kick Dorsey and his gangs ass."
"Sure." Weisz replied.
He then stood up.
Once he did so we exited the abandoned building and started following him towards his home.
All the while I mentally prepared myself for the coming battle.
Which I am sure is going to be quite the nice fight.
I can't wait.

(3rd Person: POV)
In no time at all after leaving the abandoned building Weisz had led Roberts and the others to his home.
But when they arrived they saw it was damaged.
The door was kicked in and objects were thrown out across the floor inside.
Seeing this Weisz heart sunk.
"Mom!" He shouted.
Weisz then without hesitation entered his home.
A moment later he came back out, his expression bursting at the seams with fear.
"We're too late. They took her, my mom." Weisz told the others.
"Don't despair. If Dorsey wanted her dead then her body would've been inside of the house. He wants you." Roberts calmly explained. "On that note, let's stop wasting time here. Lead us to the gangs main base."
Hearing my words Weisz nodded.
He then started leading us again.
As he told us I told the others to prepare.
Since as soon as we reach the Hyena gangs base the battle is on.
