Chapter 100: Ch 84 - Emotions
(The Next Day)
In a pathway littered with pink petals, Jinah was seen looking around as if looking for a particular somebody. Soon, she took out her phone from her bag and called a particular someone.
"Are you here yet?" asked Jinah to Dahsoo.
"Look behind you" said Dahsoo through the phone as she looks behind her but saw no one until she felt someone grab her from behind and finally saw Dahsoo wearing a Seoul High school girl outfit and couldn't hold back her laugh.
"HAHAHA!" said Jinah as she grabbed her aching stomach from her uncontrollable laughter while Dahsoo looks at her with a blank stare.
"Whew! I almost died from laughter" said Jinah as she wiped the tears away from her eyes and look at Dahsoo with a teasing smile.
"So funny, come on, let's go already" said Dahsoo while rolling his eyes and went to start walking towards Seoul High while Jinah followed along from behind.
After a while, they finally reached Seoul High as Dahsoo still wore a blank stare while Jianh followed behind with a teasing smile as the other students started to talk in hushed voices while pointing at him with some even blushing as Jinah snorted from behind.
"Laugh all you want, at least I'm attracting more men than you ever will in your life" said Dahsoo with a smirk as Jinah felt an arrow stabbing through her heart x 100 as she received emotional damage.
"Ha!" said Dahsoo with a smile as they entered Seoul High while Jinah followed along with her previous happy demeanor now gone as she finally noticed Dahsoo's suddenly long hair.
"Is that a wig?" asked Jinah.
"Yep" said Dahsoo as he waves his waist-long wig around in the wind.
"Can you show me how you look without the wig?" asked Jinah.
"Fine" said Dahsoo while he turned around and took off the wig as his neck long hair showed itself to the world as Jinah was forced to admit that Dahsoo still look more beautiful compared to her as he appeared to be a fair maiden with the windy weather blowing the Sakura petals towards them that made Dahsoo look like a fairy in the real world.
"Ugh" said Jinah with an annoyed face while Dahsoo smirked and put back his wig on his head.
"What, are you jealous of my unparalleled beauty!" said Dahsoo as he did a cute post that further annoyed Jinah.
"Tsk, just you wait, once you start receiving confessions, I wouldn't help you one bit" muttered Jinah as she took the lead and headed for the building while Dahsoo followed behind with a smile that enhance his youthful beauty.
Soon, they entered the building as more students started to talk about Dahsoo while they went towards their classroom as everyone was surprised to see the new face that entered their classroom.
"Umm, hello, are you perhaps lost?" said Mihi as she went and greeted him.
"Hey Mihi, I just wanted to say that I hate you" said Dahsoo in a feminine voice as Mihi became surprised that a random person just suddenly said that they hate her without her even doing anything towards them in the first place.
"Hey! Hold on!" said Mihi as she went towards Dahsoo who was sitting beside Jinah while Haerin was still not around yet.
"What?" said Dahsoo while his classmates are starting to talk about him.
"Why are you sitting on Dahsoo's seat?" said Mihi.
"What are you talking about? I'm Dahsoo" said Dahsoo towards Mihi as the whole class was stone shock at what they heard and started to rapidly go towards him and still couldn't believe what he has said.
"You guys happy now? You guys happy that I'm now wearing a schoolgirl outfit?" said Dahsoo with a blank face along with a feminine voice as they were shocked at the voice he could produce.
"Eh herm, well why don't we all return back to our seats and not disturbed our brave compatriot Kang Dahsoo" said Mihi with a smile as they all went back to their seats while they continued to discuss about Dashoo.
"Wow, no one seems to know that you are Ai" said Jinah in a hushed voice towards Dahsoo.
"It's because I use some makeup to change my face" said Dahsoo as he wipes his face as a little bit of powder stuck to his finger and showed it to Jinah.
"Ohh, that's smart" said Jinah as she took out her phone and started to do her own thing until they notice that Haerin has entered the room and was visibly surprised to see that someone else was sitting beside her seat.
Soon, Haerin slowly walk over to them and sat down on her seat and give some glances towards Dahsoo.
"Hey Haerin, I know, shocking right, to think Dahsoo the loser now is Dahsoo the schoolgirl" said Dahsoo to Haerin as he initiated the talk and was visibly surprised but calmly responded back to him.
"Mmm, hey Dahsoo" said Haerin.
"Hmm?" said Dahsoo.
"About your… confession" said Haerin in a soft voice.
"Eh, don't worry about answering it, I know you don't like me like how I felt for you but I wish we can still be friends" said Dahsoo to Haerin while Jinah's ear was visibly twitching from the side.
"Y- yeah, I guess we can be friends" said Haerin while slightly clenching her fist at how she can't say the words that she wants to say.
"Nice" said Dahsoo with a wide smile as she felt her heart squeezing in an unknown emotion that makes her feel a huge amount of joy by just becoming friends with Dahsoo.
"Hey" suddenly said Jinah as they look towards her.
"Hmm?" said Dahsoo.
"You confessed to her!?" said Jinah while acting shocked as she kinda knew the situation already yesterday.
"… Yeah" said Dahsoo with a wry smile.
"Wait, don't tell me, you're falling in love with me?" said Dahsoo with a surprised face.
"As if, you're too annoying that it never even crossed my mind we could be with each other" said Jinah while she look towards Haerin.
"So, did you, you know, become a thing?" asked Jinah.
"No, she just left me on read, but I got over it" said Dahsoo with a nonchalant tone while Jinah saw the flash of regret on Haerin's eyes and was starting to piece out the situation.
"So, if you don't mind, but do you still like Haerin?" said Jinah and as soon as she said those words, she saw Haerin's eyes dilating in anticipation and fear as she instantly knew that Haerin has somehow fallen in love with Dahsoo.
"Nah, I already lost hope long ago, besides, Haerin probably doesn't even like me and I'm more than happy that we can be friends" said Dahsoo in a nonchalant tone while she saw a flash of pain appear in Haerin's eyes and decided to help her.
"What if Haerin says she likes you right now" said Jinah as Haerin became surprised.
"… Hmm… I'll probably say yes" said Dahsoo as Jinah saw Haerin's body visibly becoming happy and as if a huge amount of weight was lifted from her body.
"But you don't like me Haerin right? So I guess it doesn't matter much, I'm already trying to change my feelings for you so you know, I don't act weird around you" said Dahsoo to Haerin with a smile as she felt her heart rapidly pounding and was about to speak until the door was opened with Jin-ho's figure entering the room.
"Good morning Jinah, good morning Dah-" said Jin-ho as his eyes bulge out when he looked towards Dahsoo and almost fainted on the spot as his Dao heart almost broke right then and there.
AN: Huh, its kinda strange that he's like a protagonist of a rom com highschool superhero anime right? Like its unnatural, too many coincidences happened one by one to create this near perfect story of sorts that replicates some anime troupes and cliches, hmm, kinda sus.
