Chapter 98: Back Home**

Dmitri barged into his study room to find Roseanne standing there with a smile on her face. She already heard what he did to the delegation from the Council and is beaming with joy.

“Roseanne…”

He slowly steps towards his mate, unable to believe that she returned to him a day early. Raising his hand, he touches her face as if making sure that it is really her and not a hallucination.

She smiles at him and kisses his palm, her eyes teary.

“Are you really here?” he whispers.

“Yes!” She nods. “It is me.”

Dmitri pulls her into a hug, burying himself in her scent. He kisses her neck, making her moan. Roseanne hugs him back, her finger trailing up and down his back. He nibbles at her mark and a heated sensation runs down her body. She is craving his touch and his kisses, already lost in the moment.
