When she first started to Adventure, which was three years ago, the fresh-out-of-school seventeen-year-old -๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ธ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ'๐ด ๐ด๐ช๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ'๐ด ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด- decided to join a party.
They were actually very nice.
โฆFor a while at least.
The more she started to use her favorite Explosion magic, the less inclined they were to keep the ultimate Arch-Wizard company! So they left the Inn, and forced her to shell out most of the meager currency she had to pay for the room!
So she tried again with another party.
Theyโฆ weren't as nice as last time, but it paid!
Though, their leader wasโฆ strange. Always glancing at me. I learned about his intentions when he triggered a trap of mine I set when he started to actโฆ 'close'. His party didn't believe me at first, but after some missions, they got a hold of a magic artifact.
Specifically, a grand artifact made by my father, to finally see if I was lying.
They used it on the Leader, showering the room with evidence of his Perviness! They still kicked her out later because the others were head over heels for the pervert.
She was fine with it.
But her last party was a doozy.
It was an all-female party. A ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ touchy-feely all-female party.
Now, during her torture (Schooling), she never had time to consider relationships, wanting to graduate as early as was allowed by the Great Sage (Headmaster), which was oddly enough, 17.
Even if they already considered you an adult when you could cast Advance level magic.

They ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ say something about a quest involving a strange ring from some ruins, but she had to stay in that day from a cold.

But that didn't stop her! Kind of! โฆokay, maybe it hurt a lot.
She spent three days traveling to Axel, her Explosion magic either absolutely charing her freshly caught prey, or causing every animal in the vicinity to run away.
She had to spend three days without food, before finding the request board at the guild.
Then, she saw it, an ad for a new party.

"Are you looking for any new party members!?" I asked, mustering the meager amount of energy I still had. The guy with brown hair and strange clothing looked surprised, "Uhโฆ Yeah, are you-"
But I had to introduce myself, the basic Crimson Demon greeting! "I, am Megumin! My calling is that of an Arch-Wizard, one who controls explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic!"
"Um-"
"Do you, too, desire my forbidden strength? Which is so almighty, I've been ostracized by the entire world?" I questioned the strange boy.
"H-Huh?"
"Then show me thine resolve to peer into the ultimate abyss with me!" I bellowed.
His eyes started to twitch, probably blinded by my incredible greeting!
"When man stares into the abyss, the abyss stares ba-" But he interrupted, rude!
"Are you just here to poke fun at us?" He questioned.
"N-No!" I tried to sate this strange boy with apologies, But the blue haired woman sprang up in suprise, andโฆ slurredโฆ something, "๐ต๐ฉ๐ข' ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆโฆ ๐ข๐ฉ๐ณ ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ข ๐ค๐ณ๐ช๐ฎ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฏ?" sheโฆ slurred?
She seemed to be quite drunk.
"Indeed! I am Megumin, the user of the finest magic crimson demons possess! My lethal magicโฆ" I started to sway, it seemed my fatigue caught up to me, "Smashes bouldersโฆ" and I began to fall before I felt a warmth.
