Chapter 80 - Peri and Team Karin's side
Next everyone start running toward the entrance, and once they were close, Dosu separate himself from the group and starts charging his blow as a strange rumbling sound came from his right arm.
Then he swing his arm at the closed entrance as yell "Gekishin" then his punch hit the air in front of his targets, that seem like shattering and then a focused shockwave is produced from that point, the shockwave then hits the entrance, causing the zone around it to shake and the hit entrance shatter in many small pieces,while crack forms all around.
Ren then says "That is a bit of an overkill..." and Dosu "Says the one who half a year ago destroyed a mountain range..." and Yakumo whisper "In what kind of group did I join?".
Once inside they saw three hallways so they divided themself, Dosu went to the left under Karin instruction, Ren to the right and Karin team composed of Peri, Yakumo and Jugo in the central one.
Soon they saw their first opponents, a group of Oto ninja of about 20, and so their attack started, first to move was Jugo who used his Partial Sage transformation, to change both his arms in scaly dark blades, and soon he started cutting down the numbers.
The next one to move was Yakumo who took out a painting bush and a small painter's palette, and quickly drew the image of the Oto ninja begin restricted by metal bands.
Something that happened the next second under everyone eyes, with the exception of Karin that thanks to the Kagura Shingan (Mind's Eye of the Kagura) was able to notice that everyone was under a Genjutsu, but thanks to it Jugo was easily able to deal with the remaining Oto's ninja.
Then Yakumo dispels her Genjutsu and says "Sorry but my genjutsu is an indiscriminate attack, everyone in my range falls under it, the only think I can choose is the range of said Genjutsu, my max range can cover half Konoha"
And Karin "That is some serious firepower glad to have you join us, in fact there are too many males in our group", then they moved on moving down all the opposition the meet, until the reached another bifurcation and Karin says "Agent P if you continue on the left you will meet with your objective and so the group dividend once again, while all the underground hideout started shaking "It seem that Dosu found Orochimaru, let's hope that the Hideout can withstand their fight"
While all of this was happening, in one of the labs of the hideout, the figure of Kabuto storing all the important data was seen 'Who could have attacked? Akatsuki it isn't possible after all if they wanted to attack, Sasori would have first asked some info to me...Danzo and his ROOT even more unlikely, he think of us a pawn and scapegoat, and he doesn't know this hideout location...Itachi to save his brother? also unlikely, from the sound outside it seem that there are more than 2 people fight around...that leaves only that new organization, the Baransa, it seem like they have something against us they did destroy two others hideout the Southern and the Northern, plus 6 criminal organizations that we use to gather resource'
Kabuto thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the labs door opening, so the first thing he did was throw a kunai in that direction without checking if it is an ally or enemy.
But the kunai is deflected by a fedora hat, that after hitting the kunai, like a boomerang, turns back and returns in the owner hand, who then put it on his head once again.
Looking at the strange creature Kabuto says "A summoned beast?" and the next moment all around the hideout starts shaking and Kabuto notice that the point of origin come from where Orochimaru was resting.
Then the strange summoned beast took out a scroll and put it on the floor after that it went away in the direction of the fighting between Orochimaru and the intruder.
Kabuto now curious by the creature behavior, but ever careful, use a Kage Bushing and send it to check the content of the scroll, after the clone safely opened and read the scroll it dissipated by itself sending the memories to Kabuto.
And Kabuto frowned when the content of the scroll appeared in his mind 'Kabuto Yakushi, it is still not to late to change your path and use your talents to do some good in the world, and I am not talking about your talent as a spy, but as a researcher and fighter. Remembering the scroll till this point made Kabuto clench his fist as he thought once again at the day he was forced to kill the one he thought as his mother 'as you are reading this scroll my teammate are attacking this hideout and we will take care of Orochimaru, all I ask is for you to think about my offer, and in exchange I will solve the problem that is currently plaguing you...The fact that you feel that you have no identity that you own, that you are a hollow shell, cause by the too many mission you took from Danzo's ROOT...really that man is almost the source of all the evil in this world...couldn't his father shoot him on the wall that fateful day...but I digress'
Kabuto now really doesn't know what to think about, the sender of this scroll seem to know everything about past, present and future from the way he write, he even knew about his identity crisis, something he never talked about to anyone 'So back to the topic, you problem about your identity, because of your injury to the head in your youth you forgot your past and had to create a new identity, then came Danzo and the problem started, After Danzo came Orochimaru, who like you likely noticed, molded you like he wanted and you noticed that this was in fact the same thing you did under Danzo, aligning yourself under some larger entity and then defining yourself according to that'
At this point Kabuto felt naked in front of this person that seem be able to even read his mind 'Now you probably are planning something like establish your own identity by becoming even greater than those under whose shadows you lived under...but that is the wrong path...you just forgot that you have a identity, one to you very dear, in your chase you have been burying it...You are Kabuto Yakushi, the adoptive son of Nono Yakushi, one who could be trusted to do things on his own and who was valued by the entire orphanage because of it. And that your adoptive brother Urushi is still waiting for your return at the orphanage'
At that moment Kabuto seem like hab been struck by a lighting strike, the words 'You are Kabuto Yakushi, the adoptive son of Nono Yakushi...' keeps resonating in his head, then the look in his eyes changed, he took the scroll from the ground, and then went out of the labs while the shaking increased in strength he said in low voice "To think it was in front of me all this time..."
